  • Jerusalem, 'And did those feet in ancient time', is a hymn to England based on the poem by William Blake. It is an inspirational and sometime controversial piece. Underlying the theme is the myth of Glastonbury and the belief that Christ came to England. This is an update on my previous version of the hymn.

This may be an update, but may I ask where you got the old footage for your last version from, and in what time period were they filmed? It was very beautiful footage, and I am interested in old footage as it gives us a window into the past.

All are listed in the end titles. The Victorian Era from the BBC and a 1951 film of Devon.

if I had not been born and raised lowlander Scots my next closest preference would be English...this is why the whole and complete and a united Republic of Great Britain is SO dear to me and...SO important to and for this planet and peoples of Earth. The tone and words of this Hymn come close to describing just how special in the scheme of things on earth is England...Scotland...Wales...and yes...Ireland...all as a whole and not separate entities. We have not just more in common than not but we are common to each other at the core of what constitutes unity of souls and mind and spirit. The Sots are too focused on who they don't like instead who they should like and be one with. The English are too focused on a kingdom/monarchy that has long since ceased to be relevant/needed. The Welsh need to accept they exist (and are better for it) under the wing of England. The Irish need to grow up and cease allowing the past to rule them and be fully a part of the Republic of Great Britain...the true Jerusalem on Earth! Oh that the RGB...Republic of Great Britain... could be united as one...as it should be...as an example of the ultimate Holy City to come in the good time of God. This hymn has layers to it of ultimate truth and destiny for Great Britain!
