Cool video. Looks like a very nice spot. I looked it up and just the room rate is around 1700 for a month trip, before other add ons or other expenses..
Do you know of any *significantly cheaper rentals within walking distance to area beaches/ access to board rentals?
I'm thinking along the lines of bring your own inflatable sleeping pad, with access to a toilet and perhaps a kitchen to do your own food prep..
I did 3 months in southern Thailand on $1600.. had an apartment (literally an empty concrete box w toilet room), cooked with my camp stove, and a motorbike for the duration.. would like to visit Nicaragua in a similar style. If you have any tips to share, to pull off a trip in that style over there, it's much appreciated!

Hey Frank, there are definitely cheaper places close to some of the beaches (check booking.com) but not sure about a semi-camp set up, maybe book one night somewhere in town and then just ask around, I'm sure a local would have something for you. We'd recommend renting a bike because the beaches are quite far apart (but be warned, bike prices are x3 or x4 what you pay in Asia 😅) The beaches here are awesome so you'll have a great trip! Let us know how you go, we'd love to here about your trip!

What is the name of the restaurant that you ate at the 1:08 mark of the video? I am asking because I am fairly certain I ate there too. Thanks
