Fun Fact: The song that plays in the second video (specifically near the end of the video while Ashley's face becomes contorted) is called "ashley's happy hour'. Most people think she was tortured by Bon for a whole hour.

The whole thing about the rabbit starving is supposed to represent how Susan Woodings didn't die because of being stuffed inside. She died of starvation inside the suit.

Something I’d like to note, when Ashley plays the tape with Billy’s cassette player, after each name there is a certain noise all of which are the same except for Sophie’s. It appears to sound like a sound effect signifying right (for the other names) and wrong (for Sophie). Not quite sure what the meaning behind it but it certainly singles Sophie out and emphasises that she’s different. Perhaps it’s a checklist of who’s been “made beautiful” and Sophie is next.
I bet if Scott saw this he would laugh his pants off,the sound of the wrench hitting you got me 😂
The Walten files are genuinely terrifying. And the guy basically hand draws them and animated them, how he doesn't have nightmares of his own creations is unfathomable
I mean, Scott Cawthon said Bonnie was based off of his own nightmares so I guess it's a similar situation

Something i feel nobody pointed out. The cassette tape Ashley finds is labeled from june 11th. And next to it, a photo of the main cast, excluding billy, on the 28th of that same month. This is just a theory, but did the contents of that tape result in billys removal from the franchise?
Fun fact: the faces of jack and Felix are actually the founders of atari
being Nolen Bushnell and Ted Dabney of clurse.
Nolen Bushnell is the one used to be Jack Walten i believe, and the best part is he not only founded Atari, but also Chuck E Cheese. you know. the pizzeria home to dancing animatronics.
looking up images of them together brings up results almost entirely of them with the game Pong, which look pretty similar to how Jack and his bestie look in the walten files.

@@onatkalkan4907 pretty much he supported some organizations and politicians that a lot of his fan base disagreed with so a lot of people stopped supporting him and a couple went too far and doxxed him, and as a result of all of that he made the decision to retire. Bad situation all around, people had the right to be upset but not to the extent that some of them were.
@@Zombified_guy Although I agree with people getting angry at him for indirectly supporting anti-LGBTQ-stuff, doxing is always too far and he should not have been attacked as much as he has been. I think people idealized him a bit so they got angry when their expectations were shattered.

Once in a doctor who episode there was a ghost who listed the names of a bunch of characters who later all died in some way, it wasn't just a list though, the order of the names that the ghost recited was the order in which those characters died. It's probably not connected but I just thought it was an interesting similarity

not sure if this is correct, but “sophie’s pills” were pills that were taken to forget the death of her parents, jack and rosemary, and her siblings, edd and molly. That’s why when she plays the game, everything starts to come back.

FNAF was only scary bc of the fear of being jumpscared,. the walten files are just straight up disturbing and horrifying, yet so intriguing bc the lore is super interesting and not all over the place like fnaf

Ehh the most terrifying thing about FNAF for me when I was little was Springlocks
FNAF was really scary back then we’ve just gotten used to it and jump scares as a whole now that’s why people have been making FNAF VHS tapes they are all pretty good and as freaky as The Walter Files

fnafs story is way scarier than any of the jump scares, and lets not forget fnafs ambience and stuff like that being creepy as-well. And yeah it's complicated but the story is just as interesting.

While I love FNAF, Walten Files is my favorite kind of horror in which it rarely, if ever, relies on jump scares in order to be scary and instead goes with themes and actions that are shockingly real, macabre, and very subtle.
The same way. Horror is better when it doesn’t rely on pure shock and jumpscare.

I actually felt as though TWF had too many jumpscares! But I still enjoy it quite heavily. Despite having the 'haunted animatronic' theme, it's fresh, engaging, horrifying, and the story is fantastic. Martin does a great job getting us to sincerely care about the characters, it's amazing!
Try the Fnaf vhs tapes they have very similar style

As somebody from Brighton, the most unrealistic part of this is a successful themed burger joint in Brighton 1970’s, the town was too small to get any business

A lot of people are saying that Sophie's security outfit is red instead of purple, but the "red" is actually made by the light of the lighter hitting the purple making it look different

It's definitely the art style for me. It's so bizarre, so it's easy to disturbingly disfigure even simple things. Blending the face over the robot also is just unsettling to me in every way possible

You know, when I was younger, Bonnie and the other versions of him freaking terrified me. Over the years, I thought I had gotten over my fear of animatronic rabbits, but this just opened a lot of repressed memories that just brought out the scared 11 year old in me.

When I first saw the thumbnail, I was so confused. It didn't look like a rabbit at all until I noticed the ears. Before I saw the ears, I just thought to myself, "that looks like a cross between sonic the hedgehog and nightmare chica". Now it looks like a cross between sonic the hedgehog and nightmare chica with bunny ears.

His vids are pretty family friendly. As someone who's never seen the source material, that level of detail wasn't necessary for me to disambiguate what was going on.
@@keithknows1809 Oh I know they are, but I have actually seen the source material, and it not only has a cohesive story that is attainable without extensive theory crafting, but in my opinion it is infinitely more disturbing than FNaF, in no small part due to its visual and sound design.
Part of me thinks he just shouldn’t have covered this series, because (again, in my opinion) it is wayyy too disturbing for the demographic he appeals to, and I don’t want this series to get the FNaF treatment and become cutesified, losing its original terror.
