Agreed Craig. If the auditors don't follow up, then there is no evidence of change. Imagine if they would have treated him this way at first, then the video likely never would have been posted. The problem is that making govt workers do the right thing when they are paid and promoted for doing wrong is VERY difficult. Lawsuits dont work that well because the employees responsible dont pay. However, a RUclips video showing them making an ass of themselves has power.

Other auditors need to take notes on how to handle these situations. Instead of a bunch of auditors showing up at once and everyone getting trespassed, do it one at a time like this so the cops have to either keep coming back or they will not show up at all. Make them work for it, brilliant job my friend!

It never ceases to amaze me how police are so ignorant of the law. Tyrant cop's need weeding out of the service. Just maybe their superiors will see this and act accordingly. But I doubt that will happen

A non-public Forum does not mean that the public is not admitted, it means there are expressive rights under the first amendment can be curtailed more easily than it can be in a traditional public forum

Regardless of whether it's an officer or not if he pushes his way through you that should be considered assault and battery and he should be charged. If you did the same thing to him it would be assault and battery and you would be charged. Because they have a 10 badge and a gun doesn't put them above the law. The law is supposed to be applied equally to everyone.

Whether in a public health dept or a private providers office, I have never understood why the employees would ask me for personal information while I am standing in a lobby and anyone standing near enough could hear my personal info. It makes me very uncomfortable.

Ok, so I replied with the break down of NEWHAMPSIRE state law, and how NEWHAMPSIRE does not allow trespass on public property if you are there and not going into restricted access areas, is during operational hours, and the only publicly funded building & Land that is exempt is correctional facilities and land..
It's ironic you tell me to learn law and think you have to study law or beca lawyer to read and break down a statute of state law.. when you study law and don't know laws on trespass vary from state to state and didn't look up the state the video is from..
Now I had time to look up Illinois where northeastern is located & had this incident occured in Illinois then yes, the Illinois statute on trespass allows for trespass from public buildings & lands.. NEWHAMPSIRE DOES NOT

In the 10-odd years I've held my position, I've removed dozens and dozens of people from the building for a wide variety of non-criminal acts. My experience is comparable to that of others in similar positions across the state. None of us have faced any legal consequences for these removals, despite the threats of several multimillion-dollar civil rights lawsuits which, by your perspective, would seem to be slam dunk victories that any halfway competent lawyer could win blindfolded. Why do you suppose that is?
