Long overdue but, Thank You for 70K+ views! This video got more popular than the video that this one was intended to commemorate. Just for your information, I am not Japanese and know next to 0 Nihongo so if you're Japanese or can speak Japanese but can understand this comment, I apologize greatly for not being able to reply to you guys! Google Translate is not reliable so I'm hesitant. Once again, Thank You for watching and enjoying!
Honestly, I am learning guitar , in first 1 month I was bored of this but in this time the memory with my brothers gives me hope , when I was able to play some songs , in that time I was very happy , A legend said , that 1st step is extremely hard , but when you do it , you will be rewarded 😄😄
I have 3.5 years of experience, I'm self taught and only recently i decided to start practicing with a metronome and i know my skills are probably not enough to play this correctly but I'm determined to learn it. Edit: I've been learning this for the past 2 hours and seems that the only issue (except for the timing maybe) is the tapping part.
Your cover is amazing! It must have taken a lot of effort and practice to master the entire song!!! BTW, could you please provide the setting parameters of your effect units? Nice work! Thank you very much!
@@gojo3395 Thank You! Unfortunately, since this cover, I've been using a much different effects chain. Back when I posted this cover, I only used an analog BOSS CS-3, OD-3, and OS-2 pedal(s) plus mixer EQ and Post EQ, compression and reverb. I've now been using a POD Go digital effects processor which sounds much more different to how the guitar tone of this cover sounds.
I was impressed by your guitar skills. I wanted to use this guitar track in my MIDI track, but I couldn't achieve the same effect with Logic Pro's built-in guitar sounds. Unless I record the guitar using an audio interface, it seems unlikely that I can achieve it with virtual instruments alone. However, I don't have a guitar, an audio interface, and I lack guitar skills as well. That's why I'm requesting it. I would like to have the pure guitar recording without the background track in this video please!
I'm really sorry, but I deleted the files of the project awhile back to free space on my hard drive! If it's ok with you I can rerecord the guitar parts and link them via Google Drive when I finish. Will that be ok with you?
@@natethedood I would be extremely grateful if you could do that! There's no reason for me to refuse! I trust in your skills! I've been listening to "sparkle" for 6 years, but I had no idea about the guitar parts. However, thanks to you, I now know the guitar parts in great detail. Thank you so much! I also enjoyed your cover video of "Shoujo Rei"! Let's stay in touch more in the future!
@@natethedood I have one more request if it's not too much trouble (you don't have to do it if it's inconvenient). Can I ask for two versions: one with the combined recording of the orchestral track and guitar, like in the original video, and another version with only the guitar recording?
@@p.e.r7341When you mean "a combined recording of the orchestral track and guitar track" do you mean it as in covering the song by recreating all the instruments sounds (drums, bass, strings, etc.) on a DAW or like a typical guitar cover with the guitar audio placed over an already mixed and mastered track?
@@natethedood I am currently arranging a piece using Logic Pro, using all virtual instruments (VST) except for the guitar track. Instead of simply adding a recorded audio file of the guitar, I wanted to see the harmony between the guitar and the orchestral film concert. So, I requested a combination of the recorded guitar and the orchestral concert, considering it as an additional EQ effect. However, if it's inconvenient, just sending the audio file with only the guitar recording would be sufficient. Hey thank you so so much for this. Quick question did you figure this entire song by ear? Is the song on one scale as I see many notes which are not from a particular scale
Thank You for you questions @mdo1733 ! I did indeed learn a few parts of the song by ear. I also learned it by watching covers by other people and watching some of RADWIMPS' live recordings of Sparkle. Here's one of the videos where I learned some parts of the song: ruclips.net/video/zaJT04VjkDk/видео.htmlsi=vphfiwdG8SWbzm5j I also learned from a tablature here: ruclips.net/video/8hYriM0DS4s/видео.htmlsi=6dgE29vvQddznu1O The song is in the scale of B Major. There are some accidental notes in the song which explains the seemingly out of place notes. But a song doesn't have to restrict itself to the exact notes of a key; the accidentals can sometimes add more flavor!
@@natethedood thank you so much for your reply. This is very helpful as I really need to improve my ability pick songs by ear. Yes accidentals really add flavour although this guitar part is quite complex compared to your typical songs. Thanks again :)
@@daggercatz7297 I have a direct connection from my guitar to my mixer then to an audio interface. I do equalization in post production. The guitar's pickup selector is at the middle position blending the neck pickup and the bridge pickup tones together creating a mellow clean tone that also has some "sparkle" to it.
