When I was getting physically and emotionally abused by my then wife and of course if you hit her back only then the cops will do something. people thought it was nothing because they were used to seeing me take the grunt of it. Even my children were used to seeing me abused and they didn’t care that much. I had to put a stop to it. It’s not normal. I had to fight for a long time to make people understand that I’m not a punching bag just because I’m strong. Strength is something to praise not something to laugh at.
That small short gave a masters degree worth of wisdom in psychology.

I could listen to Mike Tyson speak all day. So intelligent and such a loving person who used violence to protect himself, to survive. His life story is both heartbreaking and uplifting in equal measures.

Knowing he went through that helps me come to terms with how the schooling system treated me. Exactly the same. I was bullied for years from peers and teachers, and the only thing stopping it was me. Then they assign you a psychologist to figure out why you're aggressive
