I get the hype from AOT, demon slayer etc. but this anime give me chills more than them. I always get teary eyed when it comes to emotional scenes and laugh at the comedic scenes but most specially the chills when they win. This anime is really full packed even if you're not a baseball fan.
If you are a bit older, watch this GREAT show with caution. Im nearing that "mid life crisis" age and I loved this show, but it made me damn depressed as well. Stirred up alot of memories long ago buried away. At this point in life I can only dream of things I once did and this amazing show reminded me of things I once did. getting old fucking sucks!
@@skyreapery2n164 yeah it was really epic.. i laugh so hard when he first try to pitch the change up on the official game, but he failed miserably.....i think it was the game with oya high school
as an american baseball fan. Its like Comparing Furuya and Sawamura is comparing Greg Maddux to Randy Johnson, with the details really adding up when I look at it. Sawamura has a variety of pitches, mainly utilizing the fastball(maddux used both 2 and 4 seams but prefered the 2-seamer) and changeup like Maddux did, who was also known to have a cutter, curve, slider, and splitter. Furuya utilizes a ridiculous fastball, a slider, and a splitter, where Randy used all except the splitter, which he swapped out for the sinker (really Furuya's splitter acts more like a hard sinker than a splitter anyway)
I stopped watching around the 60+ ep on 1st season. I got busy. Maybe I'll continue watching soon. Sawamura is my fave since day 1.❣️ Loving his growth being a pitcher.
I love when he catches his throw at 0:18 after a few regular throws. I remember Miyuki (? I think that's the other catchers name) tells him there's something special about Sawamura, and he'll feel it when he catches one of his pitches. Because up until then, he always saw Sawamura as just a obnoxious loud mouth with fake motivational talk. Really looking forward to the next season. This anime is great and has so many funny moments.
I love Sawamura's Cutter, to me it's his signature moving pitch, the Change-Up he learns before the Ouya game is what _unlocked_ his pitching potential as it revealed that his grip is what naturally changes the movement of his pitches, but his Cutter is probably what he has the absolute most confidence in among his growing arsenal of breaking balls, it's the first pitch he learned to move intentionally instead of it just moving at random, and even more important is that he sought in earnest to learn it to achieve a specific goal of jamming batters into hitting flies and grounders, to me it's where his knowledge of the game and himself first began to bloom into proper understanding as Chris-senpai wanted; plus that horizontal break is just frickin nasty lmao (though i prefer the way it's depicted in the manga with the speed lines tracing the path of the break, i just feel how the anime depicts the movement isn't quite as intuitively obvious)
When coach katao say SORRY to sawamura make me cry😢😢😢 Thats what im waiting to hear that, oneday someone will tell me "im sorry, I didnt recognize your skills, and for underestimating you"
Darryl Marc Quirante Ancheta I recommend this as well, Major is my favourite anime ever period, although it’s different from Ace at the same time, since Goro is an Overdog but he goes through a lot of very human struggles and how he deals with them
@@Thehughesgaming Goro was a prodigy but he was always the underdog because of his team he always carry everyone and always choose the harder path to test his limits plus during the earlier seasons his team always barely had enough players so its really a great story not just as a sports anime its also good drama and slice of life anime
Darryl Marc Quirante Ancheta yeah that’s definitely true, was more obviously comparing Goro to Sawamura, where sawamura obviously started with a lot less, not to say that Goro didn’t have to work, he’s my favourite anime character of all time, but like it’s a difference in story of each series
This, Slam Dunk, Ao Ashi (manga is better imo but anime is still good), and Haikyuu. I heard Hajime no Ippo is goated too but I haven't seen it yet. But those are top 5 sports anime imo
Sawamura the true ace. I'm excited for Okumura x Sawamura battery in the future. I'm sorry Miyuki, I love your battery with Sawamura but sometimes you're a jerk.
You're so right😭😭 though I'm thankful that to the studio who took the project to animate Act 2 .. it's just that there were lots of epic scenes in act 2.

after Senbatsu, he wants to be better than that and from the one on one duel with that pitcher. Furuya never works well under so much pressure because he gets too tense and then his control decreases and he still has stamina problems which is worse when he lacks control from the many pitch counts. he needs to remember first that the fielders got his back, other pitchers also got his back. but he kinda set that aside to focus on trying to be better than he already was even if it's for the intention to help the team, he crumbled under that pressure that he put on himself. got injured, put on second string, worked step by step, got inspired by Sawamura etc. now he's alright, his control was never that good anyway but he can trust others and go all out without being tense because he knows there's Sawamura as ace and Kawakami as reliable third year. he's also aware fielders got his back. so he's not too worried. which is needed for him👍

You can always be Ochiai coach well not Kataoka one because... the age stuff haha
Apart from the sudden cuts being a little distracting this is a great compilation. Thank you for sharing Sawamura at his best ^-^

This is seriously my fav moment in diaya no ace...im so proud of my bakamura😹

True but he mess up too after getting what he want ... honestly I wish he wouldn’t but I think it was necessary to built up his legacy :D

I love furuya but sawamura is the best pitcher for me 😭 (tho they both have ups and downs still love them!)

Badly waiting for next season :(
When it'll available?
The ongoing match in the manga is still only at 20 chapters and far from finishing so next season will take longer than 1-2 years

There's a recent update that the next season is currently in production since the manga was already finished.
So when is the nxt act though still waiting for the release

Spring 2021 is when we should be getting more Daiya no A episodes. At least that was what I could find.
Julieanne Fowler no lol the manga is still in summer it would be longer than 2021
