Damage = 1* (1+ (Crit dmg + weak point + range + burst) )* (1+ atk buff)
to briefly understand this formula,
any buffs on atk, will also affect crit dmg, weak point, range, burst and your base attack value
but the buff on crit dmg will only affect crit dmg itself, not to mention that crit rate will reduce the effectiveness of crit dmg
it *HAS* to be a bug (or an oversight), there's no way they want people to skip limited crit nikke banners
About that last point, wouldnt a higher crit rate benefit crit dmg? Or are you saying that because crit rate is below 100%, you arent always going to benefit from crit dmg?
@@Rezagard Base critical rate is 15%, and modifier is 1.5X. As described by Blu, the compartment for "Crit dmg" is a multiplier category that is much less as "Atk buff", as it is only a additive subset of the formula's prefix. Even if it is 100% critical chance, a +20% "critical damage" is still far less in overall final damage than a +20% "Atk". Because the "Atk Buff" simply multiples all the components in the formula's prefix.

@@qwp1026 Isn't this beside the point he is asking about? I think he is just trying to parse the sentence "not to mention that crit rate will reduce the effectiveness of crit dmg", which sounds like getting crit rate reduces the effectiveness of crit dmg, but surely it is the other way around. Crit rate would make crit dmg more consistent? I assume the crit dmg isn't applied if the hit isn't a crit and then if it does crit you get it as the additive component. But yeah ATK sounds like it is just busted as you need to get crit dmg AND crit rate for an additive source compared to just ATK for a multiplicative.
Edit: It is worth noting that crit dmg with that formulae is worth less if: 1. you hit weakpoints and 2. are within burst, as they're added to the same pool so the crit dmg is diluted, which is kind of insane to think about, surely there is no way this is how it is supposed to be.
For simulation just get the reload buff :
-Chance to reload when magazine is empty
-Chance to heal when megazine is empty
-Chance to deal dmg when megazine is empty
Get this if u lucky
-Chance to block dmg
All other buff is just extra. With these buff u can do stage even when you are behind 20k power requirements
Regarding the simulation, here is tip.
If you're about to lose a stage on simulation you can pause it and press retry to reset the fight. This way you can try different strats like focusing down the boss or killing some of the mobs etc. It can make difference because sometimes the aggro doesn't work in your favor. Good luck.

The author did mention this has not been confirmed by the developer because it may be an unintended bug. The community hope Tencent and Shiftup give some answers as it has been controversial in consumer act. There are many followup analysis threads and we think they really need to give the players answers.

I think you need to upgrade your video because it's hard for me to read the skills or see anything even on full screen. I dont feel like logging into the game so much because it takes a long to for me to load the game on my phone. Id like to pause the video from time to time just to read what the skills can do. but anyways thx for the guide guess look into it later since nikke is a new game barly.
Have there been any news on the character view episode bug? The one where you can watch the episode, but get an error afterwards and not get the gems?
Whenever I went back to each character, the episode was marked as complete, but never got the gems.

yep. it's actually really convenient. What's actually really good about it is that you can literally spam Burst skills because of it and really helpful for certain nikkes that has long cooldowns on their bursts. Vesti, Isabelle, and Mihara are just some of the Nikkes that I could think of that would highly benefit from them.
scarlet feels like a diluc right now, the undisputed top DPS no matter what comp, but will be overshadowed in maybe 3-4 patches
Actually.. i dont think so as in nikke end game content scarlet is considered as one of the top dps out there on cn bt. Diluc on the other hand is like not even good (just decently not even reached average) when the game launched so yeah i wouldnt agree with ur opinion as prydwen tier list is based on end game cbt content

diluc was never good, only considered good because nobody knew how to properly theorycraft around elements and nobody really understood things like ICD and reverse vaping when the game first came out. whereas damage calculation in nikke is more simple and people have been able to test the numbers for a long time now
@@iamabotthatstartsarguments7756 that's exactly my point, nikke is still in it's theoretical phase much like genshin 1.0 where Benett and xiangling were lower tier charas because of lack of testings . So naturally players will glorify the character which looks and feels strong out of the box, and that is scarlet/diluc

Why shouldn't we upgrade Burst Skills? Since they use a different Skill Upgrade Material then Passive Skills.
i think it's because it's harder to get one compared to other skill material
Just upgrade your main unit burst to level 4 1st.
The harder one is level 5++

Is helm any good? I managed to get her to 3 stars when I’m just goofing around with the free tix and gems. I’m using vol, admi, scarlet, harran and helm now.
She's pretty meh, as the calcs say, crit is pretty garbage right now, and her main value is providing 100% uptime on her crit buff and her lifesteal, in my testing (shooting range) another dmg dealer with atk buffs like drake increased my dmg by a lot compared to her, even when Im using the 100% crit uptime trick. It just goes to show how garbage crit is right now.

Honestly just read which skill you like the most and look at their stats and what the nikke good for
Soooo... is Dolla actually more effective than Volume as offensive buffer ?
I assume if we get more crit/cdm characters, volume would eventually outpace dolla but yeah dolla would be better currently. Though both volume and dolla have synergistic buffs so both on a team are good too

@TimaeuSS Did you covered what to do when you reach lvl 80 ? As I do think that many people may not know. As well for example if I was using Scarlet as my main and want to reset it will skills mats as well come back ? Or maybe I badly went wrong up wit my team building strategy then O.o
Level your purple limit broken units and put your SSRs in the synchro device, they will be synched above lv 80 even if they aren't limit broken.
skill mats are not refunded when you reset level
