Back in 2003, I was stationed in VA. One of my coworkers was from Temple Hills and he put me on to Go Go.
I was born and raised in Watts, Ca. I was sent to live in PG County (8th Grade). When I first heard GoGo, I was like WTF is this Crap. By 10th Grade I was rocking the phuck outta GoGo. I worked at 19th and L and took the Orange Line to Work. Who remember Traxx in DC?

I remember. Traxx down the Street from the Chapter III Essence played there on Wednesdays and we would go to Traxx first then go to Chapter when the crowd was thick

Being from Columbia, S.C. very unfamiliar with Go-Go (Outside of Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers(Busting Loose), but went into Army after High School Graduation after basic training I was sent to Fort Lee, VA(Petersburg) Then I got introduced to the real deal Go-Go and the rest is History!!!

I'm from Baltimore but my first love was from PG and introduced me to gogo this was in the early 90's so I prefer the old school gogo for sure. Not sure about the gogo these days but I prefer and like to listen to old school 80's-90's gogo.
