We have stayed at Tydden Du, just 4 miles from Conwy for the last 2 years. Conwy is a great spot, particularly the marina. Llandudno is a good find, the town is a bit run down but the front is very nice. Some good hotels for lunch.
Hi Martin & Angela, did all the things you highlighted , river walk really nice. That bridge looked a bit suspect in 1972 when I first crossed it on an Outward Bound trip. Have photo of Mrs Rim on bridge as we had our honeymoon in North Wales. You had some rain. Take care.
You had a good 12 days exploring there Martin despite the rainy days. We stayed there a number of years ago and enjoyed it too. Would like to go back one day. Beautiful area isn’t it 👍. Cheers, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob & Gail, Yes it’s a fantastic area and the site is great. Thinking of going back next summer as we enjoy it that much. Thanks for comments and watching
I’ve heard of sites with a hot tub on the pitch, but not your own swimming pool 😂😂 Did they charge extra for that?! 😂 That must have been some rain, at least you weren’t in a tent!
Riverside Touring Park is excellent, and the location could not be better! Fantastic hiking opportunities for people of all abilities, or just potter around... I've never known it to flood, and have visited about ten times over the years. So please don't let that freak storm put you off returning. I think the same storm system caused major flooding over here in Greater Manchester...
We will definitely be returning to the site, it was fantastic and in a great location. The site had 2 tankers turn up to drain the water. Lots to do in the area and some great eateries. Thanks for comments and watching
thats why Wales is so beautiful and green because it fecking rains a lot 😂😂 glad you enjoyed your stay there are some stunning places in Wales to visit
Lovely site. It rained hard when we went during covid. Toilets etc closed... eating outside at the pub in a tent....will return hopefully in better weather
Nice video, we have been going to Riverside for the last ten years for three nights last week in November or first in December, never flooded but have been there in the snow! Betwys is lovely at that time of year, lots of Christmas lights and the pubs all serving warming meals. As you say, it’s a great site. Wardens are so good too 👍👍👍
No towing cover young man ? Love riverside 👍 when we picked our coachman up we went there for a wk end to make sure everything was ok with it. Could of stayed there for a week it was ace 👍
Nope, no cover. We go minimalistic these days, just take what we need. Towing cover is an additional that we don't really need. Yep, riverside is a great site. Thanks for watching
Hi Martin great video as always quick question doing our first fully serviced pitch in October not sure what pegs to use on the awning any recommendations 👍👍
I’d get rock pegs then you are covers for every eventuality, some thing like these; www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09YD7NWYK/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_K0S72ETQ17YTD9SN9K4E?linkCode=ml2&tag=thecaravannut-21 Hope that helps. Serviced pitches are great 😊
Hi Martin loved the vlog shame about the flooding I was just wondering ware you got that table from you were using in the canopy it looked really good 👍
I bought the table about 16 years ago from a camping shop in Australia! Not seen one similar over here but I bet you could find one in a camping shop. Thanks for comments and watching

Hi Colin, that bridge is definitely in need of some attention! We had a great time and definitely a place we’ll visit again.
Thanks for watching

Snap had snow when I last visited, lovely place.
Love the car show 😅
Yes was a nice surprise and bonus to the trip, some great cars and a few I used to have many years ago! Cheers

Does it flood evertime Martin when it rains hard or was it a freak downpour mate
Think it was a one off, the site had tankers on quickly to drain it off. Enjoy work!
Can I ask how you find your awning?
The canopy is great, easy to use and lightweight.
