He's not my favourite or anything but I liked Dan quite a bit on account of how normal of a guy he is. Dave can take some notes, Dan's the true Normal Guy. I loved the phone call scene where after the heavy calls are over, Dan just has a completely normal phone call lmao. What elevates my like for him is that it's not like he was doing nothing, he was just normally playing the game and trying to save himself with alliances that ultimately did not work out. But hey, that's normal.

Honestly the main reason I wanted Rosa to come back in all stars is so we could have seen her character develop more in the season and learn more about her
In my opinion, its always important for a character to have flaws and hateable traits, because it makes them way more human, that's why i like both Ellie and Jake even thought they hate each other existence. Also the only part that i liked about Ellie in All Stats was when she roasted everyone in the beggining, she is the type of person that's not afraid to speak her mind, and it was also really funny. But the rest of the season was she just being one more character to mess with jake and tom relationship, i also hate how she kept pushing aiden on tom just because she hates jake, where is all that guilt when she betrayed him in the first season 😭 I wasn't planning on writing all that but screw it

My problem with Dan is that he isn’t utilised after episode 3, ep 3 makes him out to be a strategist similar to Alec just more of a hero but after that he does nothing and feel like there was quite a lot they could have done with him
The thing I would change about Dan is making him like a loser that tries to be cool. Example could be trying to win a challenge for his team and then horribly fails or finds food for everyone, but they don't acknowledge him for it or just forget he exists in general (Like Beta Nick). This slow hatred building inside him for his team and thinking they don't appreciate him enough until he meets Gabby who's actually nice to him and acknowledges him. He's happy he actually made a friend but when Gabby betrays him and idols him out, he gets a whole mental breakdown cussing out Gabby before he's forced to leave or He doesn't vote with Miriam and decides to vote for himself or something like that so he can still be friends with Gabby since that was his only friend in the game and he doesn't want to vote out the person that Gabby loves. For me this would kind of justify his placement for me since he has an actual personality.
People who love Dan and call Aiden bland (or people who love Aiden and call Dan bland) baffle me. The one thing I like about Dan is that he was the only contestant at the time with a normal-ass family. They showed Ellie feeling geniuely bad about what she did and a few episodes after she tells Jake to "eat shit and die". It was a really quick change of attitude and it surprised me at first. I don't understand why Ellie stans can't get along with Jake stans. Personally, I don't like Jake as a character, but I understand why so many people love him or can relate with him.
