Scott what's your output on the CTX3030 I own (2) minelab 800 I really don't want to spend $2,000 plus on another machine is the machine worth the money? It's really not the money it's the wife hahaha.
Larry that's a tough call. I think the 800s will get you 90% of what the 3030 will. You can get some extra depth but the separation is slower than the Nox. For the price it's a hard sell now. The Deus 2 is out now and it looks like the machine to beat on the beach. The Legend is also making a run at the Nox as well. Unless minelab does a major upgrade to the CTX I'm not sure it's worth the price. But it has been one of the most enjoyable machines to learn and use.
