I’m 70 years old and every time I listen to this I feel the same way as you, I’ve listened to it a thousand times and it still gets me….Pink Floyd the pacifier…
When you listen to pink floyd, It is best to have left and right ear pieces or full headset on, because there are differant sounds coming from both sides.
LOVED watching yoy react to this WONDERFUL music! I'm over seventy and have been listening to Pink Floyd for decades and still do! Every time I do, I hear it for the first time! Love them!!! BTW, you are BEAUTIFUL!
Greetings from Canada. Nice to listen to fine music, isn't it? Floyd fuels emotions- that's why they hit harder than most. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this. Pink Floyd plays to your soul! The song is written about and dedicated to founder member Syd Barrett, who departed from the band in 1968 after dealing with mental problems and substance abuse.
You picked a classic album here, think i`ve got 2 copies of it in my collection but hardly ever play it so thanks i`ll go listen to it tomorrow (the original version that is) I remember buying it when it first came out and being really excited by it, didn`t really understand what the lyrics were about back than but WOW what an album. The whole things flows over you like treacle, have a listen to Comfortable Numb Live from the Pulse Tour and literally be blown away by David`s guitar work, i`ve seen people burst into tears listening to it,
I'm sorry but, you are only experiencing half of the trip with only one earbud! you must listen to every Pink Floyd song with BOTH, Left & Right earbuds/headphones, to truly absorb the experience... The pure dynamics of left & right channels, or even quadraphonic acoustics, is life changing!
A headphone will give you a more well rounded sound. There is something going on in both sides. If you think it was good like this, try it with both sides hearing.
This is parts VI - IX .... The other video is: Pink Floyd Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I - V). Thank you for doing this piece of music. I hope you like the other one
Shine on you crazy diamond pars 1-4 describe their pain and sadness and of losing one of the founder members and close friend Syd Barrette who had mental issues and a drug addition to where he could be no longer part of the band and what you listen to is the conclusion of their lament for him and hope he would get better.
What gives meaning to a sentence or paragraph in a story is always defined by the context in which it is located. And you placed each of the parts perfectly in their context, which makes sense.
S hine on Y ou crazy D iamond is split into two on the album which starts with SOYCD 1 - 5 then, Welcome to the Machine, Have a Cigar, and ends with SOYCD 6 - 9 So you might want to do the first 1-5 parts which really set things up, and each of the other tracks are just awesome 😉 BTW Syd Barrett (the subject of the album) was the founding member who dropped out of the band suffering severe mental health issues and the effects of drug abuse. He was dearly loved but became so unstable the band couldn't play live with him. Fun Fact, that last little riff on the keys is taken from "See Emily Play" written by Syd Barrett and one of his bigger hits
“Shine On You Crazy Diamond” is an epic suite that lasts over 26 minutes in its full version. At the time of the album's release in 1975, vinyls were the primary medium for music distribution, and each side of a vinyl had a limited duration in terms of recording time, i.e. (+/ - 21 minutes). Artists therefore had to take this constraint into account to ensure that their songs could fit on a single disc without sacrificing sound quality.
Una buona cuffia 🎧🎧🎧ci vuole per ascoltare i Pink Floyd. Con l'auricolare solo in un orecchio perdi la loro musica che diventa una fantastica esperienza
Pink Floyd should be listened to in full sterio. Get yourself a decent pair of headphones, the type that covers the ears. Try and get a pair with high impeadance of at about 50 ohms for good sound fidelity. There is so much going on you're missing out on with a single ear bud.
It's a waste not listening to Floyd, or any music, with only one earphone. Why do you only want to listen to half the music? Are you unaware that wifi is dangerous?
Richard Wright, the “quiet” genius of Floyd.
Rick was definitely the Pink Floyd "sound" Bro.

❤️
I'm 79 years old, but never liked them. Age is not a defining factor!

Agreed !
Yes, fully agree! You’re missing a lot of sounds. This holds true for Led Zeppelin too.

Rock on!💕
Yes, it is fantastic. Try it again with both ears, it's gonna be epic
Alright
Thanks
If you listened to this in only one ear...you may have committed a crime! this is one of my fav songs of theirs!
most people only listen to the other version. i find this very calming. big love to all people :)
The other version? I think you mean Tracks I - IV.
Other people call it Side A... 😜
Greetings from Canada. Nice to listen to fine music, isn't it? Floyd fuels emotions- that's why they hit harder than most. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
Loved it beautiful!! Pink Floyd is an ancient modern vibe!
Pink Floyd tip: If your only using one ear bud, you're missing half the experience. Just saying, the production on Pink Floyd tracks is amazing
Thanks

Thank you for the heartfelt, authenticly genuine reaction to this classic Pin Floyd masterpiece. Look forward to seeing you again.

Wooh, that sad
it's all beauty here, for my ears and my eyes
Thanks

It's actually Shine On You Crazy "DIAMOND"!

Please do shine on you crazy diamond parts I-V.
Done 💕
This song is about their former band leader and guitarist Syd Barret who did a little too much LSD and went a little crazy

Alright thanks
Oh almost forgot, please wear headphones or ear buds because otherwise you don't hear the special effects
You should wear headphones. I know you have one ear plugged in, but to really feel immersed in this music both ears need to be covered.
Lady, you seriously need headphones for Pink Floyd...trust me on that.

Thank you. 💕
Too pretending. but a sincere reaction.
Sorry?
@@Glow_ree Your 100% might be my 5%, vice versa. Never liked Pink Floyd: necessity, signature, evocation. They don't make me believe.
the name of rhe song is "Shine on you crazy DIANOND° and to start with part VI-X doesn´t make sense.
