Definitely more emphasis on the post-apocalyptic setting, in the story mode or otherwise. Your character owning a toxic-waste dwelling fish as a (customizable!) sidekick, and *especially* having to take a train to the main plaza, really gave me hope that the ruined world they showcased will be a main setting of the game, and I hope they capitalize on the world-building potential that would allow ^_^ Really though, after that fantastic shot of the toppled Eiffel Tower, it almost felt disappointing when they revealed the new hub area! Yeah sure including playable Octolings from the start is nice, but I want to explore the Earth’s most famous cities as a goshdarned desert, damn it! XD
I really want to see some current and old maps alike come back and stylized in the new chaos theme. I feel like it would switch up the play style each map has, as well as showing just how much the world has changed seeing old places become unrecognizable
A lot more game modes for both multiplayer and salmon run as well as a way to grind up maybe some sort of token that allows you to choose your weapon, bomb, special set :)
The announcement of Splatoon 3: The best - and others could argue the only - highlight of an otherwise forgettable direct. I’m so happy that this inventive, family-friendly third person shooter is still going strong, and already can’t wait for what fascinating lore will be explored this installment ^_^ Great remix as always, by the way! UV + Splatoon is always fresh to death ;)
I'm honestly kind of surprised splatoon did as well as it did, considering the first thing I heard of it was the "Kid now, Squid now" song :/ I'm happy tho, and I'm sure Splatoon 3 is gonna be absolutely insane :) Also thanks lol. I want to do more splatoon stuff
@@UVPhoenixMusic Oof, yeah; for what was supposed to be a hip, all-new IP, Nintendo definitely made a poor call with the marketing XP But eh, in hindsight it’s kind of a fun “so bad, it’s good” meme, so I can’t complain. Kind of has a 80s/90s goofy game commercial vibes to it as well, and Nintendo’s always been the king of those ;)
@@plainoldcereal9409 Oh yeah, that’s right! Was definitely happy to see that game get some love, too; hoping it means a next-gen Tomodachi Life is in the future :D

What's something you _really_ want to see in Splatoon 3?

A story where it either focuses on why the salmonids are angry and Mr Grizz, or something Pearl did to create chaos.

I just want no broken weapons *Looks at Ballpoint* other then that anything’s good.
Sounds so chaotic... Perfect for Splat3
Squid squad-Ink or Sink (C-side remix)

Squid squad music needs to come back in Splatoon 3 honestly
