Love your vids man, but you have someone stealing your vids again. @Aoneofficials is taking parts of your vids and stitching them together with other random vids and not giving you credit. He copied a couple whole videos too, like your Kris one.
Amazing to watch the process of the making of that blade from a old file what you created is stunning from the finish, pattern and handle just beautiful.
I love your knives. You and Dimitri from Shrap are some of some of the best knife makers I see on You Tube. So question for you... is there a chance you would be willing to make a knife out of your metal scrap/cut offs from your other projects... I'd very much like to see what your imagination could come up with. Please keep up the great work. Your knives are absolutely beautiful.
Now THIS is a fighting knife! Everyone says the Bowie knife is the king of fighting knives, but it's not even close to this. The point geometry is fearsome for both piercing with lowest effort as well as slashing. The point geometry also makes it useful for getting into tight areas and doing delicate work, something a Bowie simply can't do. The groove and extra blade width are OK but not necessary. The workmanship is awesome as usual!
Great work as always, this one turned out very nice. It is a Seax though, which is more commonly associated with the Saxons. They were a Germanic people who ended up taking over England. Having said that, it seems a lot of the blades carried by the Vikings were made in what is now Germany, they had a lot of trade there apparently. This it seems included Seaxes. Once again, lovely knife.
That looks amazing. Stupid question for the day: how do you get those striations on the blade? And why did you choose to round out (don’t know what to call it, sorry) the top portion of the blade? Absolutely beautiful work and I love watching you build these incredible blades. You are phenomenal in your craft. Keep up the great work
The striations are from different alloys of steel and or nickel, and they react differently when etched in acids. The rounded out portion is usually for reducing weight or to reduce surface area with the object that is being cut. I think in this case it is called a blood groove.
Nice vid, nice outcome, however, what is the shape??? Gyuto with fuller, aey...didnt you plan to call it a sax,...or did you...nevertheless keep up, great content,...
I used to wonder what kind of wizardry you used to had sand your blades…it’s just a piece of steel isn’t it? 😤 I’m a little stupid. Absolutely gorgeous blade I love the amazing contrast the nickel brings to the darkened steel!
If you liked the video, don't forget to like and share the video.
Of course❤
Why didn't you anneal the file before starting work on it? It would have made the cutting and surfacing much easier on your tools.

Why did you remove the new video?
An amazing looking knife. Nickel makes a great pattern when exposed properly like this. Keep it up.
You answered question. So Nicole makes those neat striations?

Yes this is definitely a Broken back Seax, and is of course an Anglo Saxon tool
