- Perched at 19,300 feet at Umling La, Ladakh is the world's new highest motorable road. Built against all odds, the road is no less than a marvel of civil engineering. Hormazd Sorabjee celebrates its opening in grand style, behind the wheel of a 650hp Lamborghini Urus.

The end gave me goosebumps…such a proud moment for the country 🇮🇳
Gave me the goosebumps of a lifetime reaching that height of 19300 ft is such a remarkable efforts of BRO and autocar india for giving such an amazing experience to our viewers through your lens and the fantastic 650 HP yellow bull Urus. Really made the my morning and salute to the efforts and hardships of the people who made this happen!!!!!
We should respect & honour those souls who laid down their lives to make it possible for us drive at 80KMPH on such a rough, inhospitable terrain. They are the true heroes of our country. 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Btw, a wonderful video, keep it up!👍

In 2010 they had started from dras - we drove in machismo. From Delhi to manali to leh changla kardungla kargil dras , sonmarg gulmargh BRO had taken my breath away back then and now it's amazing.

It must be about 1200 kms from Delhi. And considering a fuel consumption of about 2kmpl, it would have cost them atleast 60,000rs for the fuel alone
