Perched at Umling La, Ladakh, India, there's a new highest road in the world. And we've just unlocked in another Lamborghini - the 650hp Urus! Video - ruclips.net/video/xV1J-sDYVfA/видео.html
Indian motor journalists are getting better and better. New and exciting content too. Hats off Autocar India. And hats off Lamborghini! Its a proper raging bull.
Woah..I actually saw this same Lamborghini in Delhi, Huaz Khas yesterday. Same number DL1CS 4664. Took a snapshot too! Lucky me..the only Lamborghini to reach Khardungla pass..was right in front of me :p
Dude i just came back from khardungla And m 100% sure that u didnt drive the car for more than 1km in the uneven patches near the top Nd yes ... even 1km is max
175mm!! oh my god! this is more than enough to drive on any indian roads(almost)! 5 mm more than ciaz. btw, there is a new aventador sv in the country, in the same city where u shot the video of r8 lmx.
+Banjul Meshram biggest problem with driving a lambo (or any supercar) in India is that you will never get speed. In spite of dampers and cooling, the car relies on speed to cool its engine. There are enough instances where supercars have caught fire because of this issue. Anything over V6 required high-speed air running and cooling the engine.
Kalpesh Patel oh, I wasn't knowing that. I think then i8 is good. Abhishek Biswal I know where the car is but I dont want to reveal it, I even know the owner's name.let them find the car bro.... Vv hese no, the car is not longer than mid sized sedans like verna, but it is much more wider than them.so no prblm with that.but as I said almost, I dont count village roads, most of them r bad anyways. Well giant speed breakers r biggest prblms but now they r being removed because 95% of them r badly designed.....btw 175 is enough fr car of this length like huracan....maybe the front bumper will be a big prblm.
This has to be the most ambitious mission by Autocar India...taking a Lamborghini Huracan to the highest motorable road in the world. Also what they are not showing the the massive support crew which had to be there to make it possible. I can already imagine a truck with gallons of fuel to continue the journey for the Huracan cause the mileage on that thing with the low speed is horrific. Still one of the best Autocars videos there. ❤️
***** That "lot" as a number is very small as a "percentage" of the population, even if you consider only the literate population as a base.Total # lambos & Ferraris in India is less than the total # in Dubai which is just one of the emirates of UAE, and has a population less than that of Mumbai. Stephan Winkelmann himself once said - Taxation and exchange rates pose a big hurdle to affordability of Lamborghini cars in India. For the same reason many of the old Lambos (or Ferraris for that matter) in India have been bought from agents who help you in evading applicable duty & taxes. That said, I agree there are those handful who may be able to spend anything on these beauties (or beasts, may be?!)
Damn! Your video intro is really dope. And it's just amazing that a Lamborghini could be driven on such roads! Seriously, good going and keep the great videos coming!
I dont think that anybody can drag down without, watching a video of a lamborghini at leh heights. Something i never thought i wud get to see. Amazed..

+Sanandan Kinkar Everyone does that, everyone takes luxury SUVs offroad, all the time. Who has taken a two door, lower to the ground sports/super car to Khardungla? Nobody. They wanted to do something new and they did it.

Elison Tailor nooo
Elison Tailor hurracan can lift upto 175mm thats why
Elison Tailor no its around 170mm pretty much equal to skoda superb.
no
bro you are not wrong but it can lift up
One wrong acceleration and you are flying down the mountain slopes :)
If it had wings and jet engine, it would fly away
😁

+Banjul Meshram That's even more than my WagonR, it has only 165mm GC :O
Hehe yeah, much more than many Indian cars.

+Banjul Meshram but the car is more longer and wider.so the 175mm GC is not enough in some rural roads and giant speed breakers.
Kalpesh Patel oh, I wasn't knowing that. I think then i8 is good.

Now we can say that the lambos are for the indian roads 👍🏻
Bottom line: This car isn't suitable for Indian Roads!
It isn't suitable for the Indian pockets to begin with!
completelynew009 Well I personally know a lot of enthusiasts who can spend that much bucks. But for me its certainly NOT for India anyhow.

now its proven to be suitable
If it survived Khardung La, it will survive our cities...or you could just wait for the Urus! :-)
This effort deserves a thumbs up..
This is just insane 😲 . Salute the driver for his skills 👍🇮🇳
Who said Indian roads aren't good?... See he is driving Lamborghini 😝😝😝
How said that was stock lambo that thing has 175mm ground clearance that's greater than any other sedan in India
@@PratikV2691 it IS stock. Lamborghini has suspension lifting feature stock for India.
Good life decisions 101
Step 1 : Buying a 3.5 Cr sports car
Step 2 : Not taking it to the mountains.
"Brakes probably strong enough to stop earth's rotation"😂😂😂
why u no test Lamborghini in her natural habitat? xD the airport ? :C
Just type it in the search box. you'il find 1000s of them. But only 1 of Khardung La.
We've done that too :-)
Rightly said! :-)
Because everyone else is doing so
They tested the Huracan with Sukhoi MK29...google before you doodle
Best Autocar video ever.
next huracan goes to top of mt Everest and takes a selfie
The roads China has built to base camp apparently make it possible :-)
This is Unbelievable. Hat's off to the Autocar India team and obviously the Huracan, such a practical supercar.
This is crazy stuff autocar India.
You are Great sir ji ,one of the most unbeliavle video i ever seen in youtube vlogs 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Anyone seeing it for first time in 2019???
I envy that guy, seriously one lucky bastard ;-)
Hahaha! ;-)
Hahaha! ;-)
I think you should try the roads in south india
where did you find high octane fuel in Leh or you have taken octane boosters or spare fuel with you
+Amandeep Singh u dont need hight octane to drive it.. high octane jst gives it a speed boost over normal fuel
We had enough fuel. This was just a 40km drive. We did another 150km drive the day after to Lamayuru from Leh the next day :-)
Hats off to you brother. You are the bravest Indian
Damn! Your video intro is really dope. And it's just amazing that a Lamborghini could be driven on such roads! Seriously, good going and keep the great videos coming!
This I love. Autocar fills the void from Topgear?? Great job! Kinda wish the video was longer
Are you familiar with car throttle?
175mm is almost the ground clearance of xuv300...😱
I dont think that anybody can drag down without, watching a video of a lamborghini at leh heights.
Something i never thought i wud get to see. Amazed..
Maruti 800 would have performed better on that road conditions
We'll try and let you know :-)
Nah
Make a video of Shimla also.
omgggggg why would u do that to a lambo
exactly
+dewa satya if you can why not? they set a record and also made it to the history books
prathamesh sawant first F1 in khardunga
First Lamborghini in khardunga. This history
because that's the best road in India, if you know what I mean. what a waste.
Supercars make you do silly things :-)

The road from KhardungLa to Nubra valley is worst. You will need a tank to go there.
Why dont u drive it on the way from ladakh to leh??
really amazing you chose to drive this beast in Leh.. Awesome.. how did you survive the potholes ?
By praying really heavily :-))
Wow..best video ever seen...the driver is also fantabulous.
I have also drove my c class to up there at khardungla, you have just made me recalled my experience
Great video and good job by the anchor.

Mystic peaks. My all-time favourite game :-)
Very interesting vdo. A lambo In the high mountains. Great

Tats one lucky Bugger to have done this task!!!! Khardung la every automobile enthusiast's dream destination. ...
2020, and still a dope video!!! Lambo on that mountain looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beauty in a beautiful place
how long was the stretch of road the truck traversed before the Huracan was lowered onto tarmac!!!!
Trucked from Delhi to Leh via Srinagar. Driven from Leh to Khardung La (except 3-4 km stretch in between) :-)
Jump to 7:48 to see the Lambo in its full glory.
Salute to the cameraman 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
New episode- getting down from khardungla😃😃😃
where did you get petrol pumps for it? it need ron 95 fuel minimum and India does not have that fuel pump on the way
They should have taken the Macan turbo S instead, or X6M
+Sanandan Kinkar Everyone does that, everyone takes luxury SUVs offroad, all the time. Who has taken a two door, lower to the ground sports/super car to Khardungla? Nobody. They wanted to do something new and they did it.
Hail Hydra Do you live in India?

Good video
Does the car come with the scrape guard for both the sides and can this be driven with ease in india ??
I want this job! How do i apply for this?😓😂
If it can be lifted upto 175mm why boder those speedbreaker.. And need to make sure.. Both front and rear can be lift or just front??
You pulled a top Gear! Great job
no words to say ....just awsm....😃😃😃
175mm!!! thats more than many indian cars
The Random Guru i was also surprised!!
wow lambo on mountains. ..what an idea sir ji
Above all nice one sir excellent performance and a new taste in the motor show incredible India
This is insanely great. Best test ever for a Lamborghini Car
thats why the urus is around
How do u reach the That Top place with this small ground Clearance vehicle?
India's Stelvio pass? xD
1% of the speed :-)
Now that's called real adventure
And the car didn't breakdown once
+Rohan Singh why would it?
Foreign Debris, Overheating, Low Ground Clearence, Low Oil Pressure there can be many factors.
Rohan Singh they are not as fragile as you might think. I mean previous lambos were, right up till Audi took it over.
Could Be! Bit Somedays back I saw an Hurcan in Bombay which was dead(sort off) due to overheating.
My whole point of saying is these cars are good for track and highway driving and for SWAG too but offroading is not is play.
