Y'know. Seeing this recap, and really thinking about it... I'm officially declaring Lumity as my favourite canon couple in all of fiction. I was already kinda on the fence about it, but it's clear now. From their early days getting to know each other, planting the seeds that would eventually bloom into a mutual crush. To their fiddly stumbling around the issue leading up to their confession / dating proposal, and the adorably awkward early-relationship phase that followed. All the way to now -- months, and by the end, _years_ into their relationship, seeing how comfortable and trusting they've grown of one another. How they compliment each other better than ever before, know each other's tells, and are just so goddamn pure. NOT TO MENTION that this is one of the best examples of an honest, loving, _totally normalized_ queer relationship I've ever seen across all media. This show didn't waste any time pussyfooting around the idea these characters might be gay. It didn't talk explicitly about "is it okay to be attracted to [x]," or shoehorn in some bigot character just to explain to the audience "homophobia bad, being yourself good." It didn't _need_ to do any of those things -- because the crew respects their viewers. We're not mindless. They just treated being gay like a normal, everyday thing, because that's _exactly what it is._ THAT'S good representation. I love Amity and Luz so much. I love Dana Terrace and her team so much. I love _The Owl House_ so. fucking. much. 😭💜

Imo, the lumity ship was at its peak in season 3, even if it was cut short, the results were still great in the end. And I'm sure gonna miss this show now that it's over. But it won't stop me from continuing to like the lumity ship.
I Just love the little details. Amity's hair roots growing after a few episodes, Luz having Burnout because she is exhausted with everything, It's these details that make me really like this drawing, it's great.
I would like to mention a small detail. In episode 1 season 3 the scene were Luz is in class, you can see the lettters L + A carved into her desk. Aww, she missed her. Also, Lumity kiss on the lips. Take that cencors!

I am delighted with all my heart and extremely happy that Disney has finally produced a children's series, which contains the love between two girls in a very romantic and very stylish way. And Dana Terrace did great work indeed. But in fact I still have to criticize one very specific thing in the opening credits of the third season. And I promise, that's really the only position where I have to criticize something. This fish picture in the opening sequence with this exclamatory sentence "Hi! I'm..." is counterproductive. In that video here it appears at the video point 0:15 accurately. This section of the introduction really discredits the need for the emancipation of LGBTI people in relation to all the Disney television series. This part of the opening credits is this one block of wood being pulled that brings down the complete Jenga tower that Dana Terrace has built very carefully and very accurately from the opening episode "A Lying Witch and a Warden" to the episode "King's Tide". In the second season, Dana Terrace portrayed the love between Luz and Amity in a really magical, very romantic and very beautiful way. And I myself had wonderful spring feelings in my heart, when I watched the three episodes with the titles "Through The Looking Glass Ruins", "Follies At The Coven Day Parade" and "Clouds On The Horizon". I enjoy all these magical kissing scenes very much. This is the truth. And in my eyes, the love relationship between two girls is the most beautiful love relationship of all. I really mean exactly that. I watched all these romantic scenes and especially the kissing scenes and I really felt as though I were in the seventh heaven. But then I suddenly watched the introduction of the third season, and I was wondered in a special way unlike the previous way. This was a sudden interruption. When I watched the opening credits of the third season, I suddenly asked myself one question: What has Dana Terrace done at once with the introduction of the third season? While the second season with the episodes I have mentioned was very romantic and very stylish, the opening credits of the third season suddenly contain a cultic degradation in the section of this described fish picture in the shape of a questionable cult. This picture in the indroduction really feels in a sudden way uncomfortable because of the described degradation in the shape of this cultic revelation. In this way the LGBTI-emancipative character of the series is partially ruined because of this picture in this one opening sequence of the third season. So now I have one special request. Please tell Dana Terrace to remove this picture in the opening credits because of the reason just mentioned. And I have a sincere request that you please forward this message to Dana Terrace and to the Disney channel. If you cut just this picture with the fish and the mentioned exclamatory sentences out of the opening credits, then the entire series would be saved and then this series would really be a true LGBTI emancipatory series again in its full form. Hopefully you understand exactly what I mean. Because I'm telling the truth, I care deeply about LGBTI rights. For me, the emancipation of homosexual and intersexual people is really a matter close to my heart. That's why I'm telling you all this and that's why I've formulated the request for this small change in the opening credits. Please understand me in the right way! Yours faithfully and sincerely!

This is not the end for them or the franchise it is only the beginning. The reason why is because there are so many questions that need answering and so many Easter eggs that we can see a comic series, shorts, spin-off series, and maybe a movie
Lumity is a fantastic ship but I still think it’s funny that Amity has a gigachad chin in season 3. By far their best moment is when Luz introduces the group to rain
