Yes, I did use type c to type c adaptor 🙌 as it helps in easy plug in and plug out.

This is a lil bit expensive for the adaptor as I bought this online, you can find one in the local market for 100-200 rupees and you can check that at the time of buying as well. Hope it helps.

Pros:
1. No wires inside the helmet.
2. No electronic disturbance.
3. Plug & Play.
4. Easy to Use.
5. Cheap wireless setup.
Cons:
1. Boya Mic is Flimsy.
2. Not Waterproof (opt for DJI MIC 2 Transmitter for a clean wireless setup).
3. Always have to check whether audio is recording via mic or not before use.
What audio settings are you using? Stereo or mono? And gain?? One more thing, how are you keeping the mic in the chin area? There's not much space there! Thanks in advance.
@@ArnabMurshidabadi hi brother, using stereo and in DJI I usually prefer gain -6/-8. you can do trial n error for yourself. I keep my mic in Chin pad. Hope this helps. Enjoy Riding !
@@engineeronthemove Thanks for replying. Yes, meanwhile I've also figured out the best gain range to be between -6 to -8. Currently I'm using a normal 3.5mm to type c converter (with DAC chip only, not ADC one) to use with my older mic. While riding, the voice comes to be okay but with frequent 'kich kich' sound! 😞 Thinking about upgrading to this Boya model! 🤞🏽

Thanks a lot for the video bhai, mene bhi DJI action 4 liya hai for motovlogging. I want to know what brand type c adaptor you are using for mic, can you give the link if it's available online.
It's simply a type C to C adaptor for extending length 😅 I bought from Amazon. You can buy from the local market which works for you. Will cost hardly 150-200.
Use 2 dead cat for clean audio at higher speeds 🤝

Ya phir "DJI osmo action 3.5mm audio adapter" lelo.. koi bhi mic laga skte ho, 3.5mm and type c port wala both mic chalega.
Have tried several wired setup with my DJI action camera and Insta360x3 in initial days, they work fine obviously. But several time I faced noise disturbance and if not plugged in properly or poorly toh Puri ride ke baad pata chalta hai ki audio toh mic se record Hui he nahi 😅
Also taking advantage of wireless mic setup as this is more easy on DJI as compared to GoPro.
Might upgrade to DJI Mic 2 for pure wireless and waterproof setup.❤
@@engineeronthemove agar wireless jana chahte ho then dji mic 2 is definitely the best. Lekin wired setup me maine jo 2 methods bataya wohi sirf kam krta hai. Logo me abhi awareness nhi hai iska. Bohot paisa jalane ke baad mujhe ye pata chala 😭

I bought dji osmo action 4.. really wanna know which mic will be good for motovlog.. again can't afford dji mic.. too expensive 😩, if you got any new solution, please share..
Go with wired mic, if you are looking for simpler solution. Best with DJI Action 4 is you can use any type C mic. Boya or Samsung or AKG. Plug and play and no hassle.

Image and video quality is a personal preference when it comes to goPro or DJi OSMO Action.
Rest I can share my experience with DJI to you.
1. DJI is More easy to handle
2. Magnetic mount ki wajah se it is more hassle free to mount anywhere.
3. Mount vertical (Instagram) ya horizontal (RUclips) in just few seconds
4. DJI mein aap wireless mic laga sakte ho
5. UI is more user friendly in DJI
6. Battery lasts longer then GoPro 12

With Boya Mic it will be wireless not waterproof, with DJI Mic 2 it will be wireless and waterproof bhi. Hope it helps 🫡

I hope you meant DJI pocket 3. If bought the creator combo. DJI mic comes with the package. Haven't used DJI pocket series myself 😅 sorry but won't be able to help here.

No this setup is not WaterProof, for waterproof setup you have to go with DJI MIC 2.
