Yeah, Rocket Queen is so fun to play in my opinion.
Stephen Adler was by no means the most technical rock drummer, but he had a bouncy feel that can’t be replicated by anyone else. That’s what makes a drummer great.

“Is” and “has”. I had to look to see if he had died or something. He’s still rocking. Just sayin’.
Bro the most technical was Bonzo from Led Zeppelin. he is considerated the "Jimi Hendrix of drums". Adler is certainly a very good one but no competition against Bonzo.
I have to agree, wife let me get some drums, (Alesis) since I could wear a headset while learning....😂, and I noticed that I was able to pick up G&R's beat. I've been playing guitar and bass since 1985 and always wanted to have some drums. Lucky for me I am ambidextrous which helps a LOT! Anyway, I just love Steve's groove, like someone said, "bouncy", it's hard rock with some jazz in there. Just makes you want to bob your head ala "Wayne's World". G&R just didn't sound the same after Steve left....

Back in 1978 there was an amazing song written by Judas Priest titled “exciter” off there album Stained Glass. You familiar? Back in the 80’s in the jersey club circuit if you played covers as a drummer that was on the top of the list to perform as every drummer wanted to but it was very challenging for most drummers to nail down. It took me a while but i was able to put that on our bands set list as an opening song. Man did it get attention, I’d like to request that I see you add this to you library…. Please…. I’d love to see you do this tune, can ya take a listen to it sometime and perhaps give it a go.??? Thanks always for your awesome videos man, us ole timers really need the inspiration bro….
