      Use different brand of chocolate, almost always the problem is the chocolate quality.

    Beautiful chocolate roses. How many chocolate chips did you use converted to cups? Thank you for sharing.

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  9 лет назад +1

      JebNaJer P Thanks again sweetie. I used one and a half ounces chocolate chips. It's really hard to get the precise amount in cups, its better to use weight. For certain recipes when little increase or decrease is OK I use cups but when it has to be precise I use weight.

    Awesome tutorial, Sama! I tried this at home, but the chocolate starts melting at room temperature as the weather is too hot out here. Do u think trying this with moulding chocolate help? pls suggest.

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  7 лет назад

      Hi NItika, glad you tried it. Indeed the chocolate melts in hot weather. Do you mean using molds for the chocolate, if so it will melt too. I think it will be better to use fondant instead of chocolate, I hope my answer is helpful to you.

    • @nitikasamtaney3531
      @nitikasamtaney3531 7 лет назад

      Thank you so much for your reply, Sama! I meant using "moulding chocolate" (available Online) instead of choco chips. I would try using fondant, but will it look as good as chocolate roses on a chocolate cake? If yes, which color should I go for?

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  7 лет назад

      I couldn't find moulding chocolate, if it is candy melt, candy melt melts in your hands it is not good. I'm not sure if fondant will look as good as chocolate, it might be. You could try chocolate brown and hay color. I found some ideas on google image; like making flowers from chocolate chips, hope this is helpful.

    hi. wanted to ask desperately. Does it works if the surface is not cold enough? or the surrounding or surface is should be cold so that it wont melt when making the roses. thanks

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  9 лет назад

      +Jacklyn Nicole Tiu Yes, you want the chocolate to be pliable and soft but at the same time holding it self. If the weather is hot it will melt and will be difficult to work with.

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  10 лет назад

      Richa Bahety I'm glad you made them !! It's the hot weather, my Hershey chocolate bar almost melted on the dinner table. My recommendation is to keep them in a cool dry place like the basement, if you can't find such place put them in the fridge for one or two weeks, sometimes I leave them even longer, but don't leave them for more then a month or so because they will turn dull and dry. It is really hard to work with chocolate in hot weather, the chocolate cocoa butter melts and keeping chocolate in a cold place is all you need.

      +Annie Haroon Hi Annie, I use honey all the time so this shouldn't be a problem. My question is does your chocolate so soft or like if it is melting when you work with it, if yes I would say the weather, because I had this issue when it gets so hot. Second, you could wrap it with plastic and leave it for over night at room temperature. Sometimes I use the fridge and sometimes the freezer it shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep an eye on it, don't let it solidify. Please let me know if my answer is helpful or you need more help.

    Your tutorials are great from what I can hear, its a pity though it sounds echoey when you speak so it makes it hard to hear what your saying. The audio is terrible.

    Not specific about type of chocolate (%cocoa?), and rose is too large and heavy.

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  7 лет назад

      near the end of the tutorial I showed you the chocolate that I used and the percentage of cocoa. I made them big so the tutorial would be clear and easy to see but you can make them as small as you work with them.

      Jessica Brockopp Which kind of chocolate did you use? Which part didn't work? I can help you to get it to work. It depends on the chocolate. Second, try to wrap it with plastic wrap and keep it at room temperature for overnight.

      Jessica Brockopp What is the percentage of the cocoa butter in your dark chocolate?

    • @QueenOfChill
      @QueenOfChill 9 лет назад +1

      35%

    • @Sama15852
      @Sama15852  9 лет назад +1

      Jessica Brockopp That's why it didn't work! It is too low. We are talking about cocoa.You need to used much higher percentage, I used 52% and 63% cocoa, I mentioned that in my tutorail. 35% some times they call it white chocolate even it is brown in color. Just try dark chocolate with 63% or 52% cocoa.

    I sooo love your video, I'm just wondering if I could also try it using a white chocolate and if the measurement of the ingredients would still be the same? ,and oh, just how much chocolate did you use in this? I would really love to hear your reply. thanks :)
