Another great video. Well researched, produced, edited and narrated. Looking forward to the next one!
If I recall correctly, K154 was originally destined for SGR, but after sitting in Moe for ages upon an inspection it was deemed too hard to restore, so it was then sent to Newport Workshops.
Yeah it was, i didn't go to much detail on K154 as this video wasn't really about it
This channel’s video quality:📈
I love how you used t251 at bellarine nice
also the N class have ventured down to Queenscliff all be it very very rarely
good show.
The V499 project has been seized since 2018
And some of its parts are stored at Maldon
Yeah that project has completely fallen apart
Apparently it has been fully dismantled
Well, its socials are all deleted or abandoned, and the project manager fucked off to the UK (presumably to never return) so, yeah, project’s dead.
Also, the VGR deleted any mention of V499 from their website.
Nice doco, also i dont know if this is true of not but i read on a railpage forum that vr was planning on making a light pacifc using a N class Boiler and rear trailing wheels and a D3 driving driving wheels and leading bogie
@@TrainBloke38 Yes it's true the V.r was planning on making lighter Pacific's, which where to be used on the Western line.
The only modern photo of SAR you chose was in Queenscliff VICTORIA if your gonna mention it show a modern photo in our state not just with a train from our state
