I was always under the impression that the androids weren't actually stronger in the present timeline but that trunks was mistaken because they were holding back to make it more fun for themselves
The only thing I that I can think of that could have increased the Androids power level.
When trunks went back in time and killed freezer and his father. Dr. Gyro saw a unknown enemy that was really powerful.(doesn’t even know what a SSJ is still).
He must have boosted the power of his Androids to handle the new enemy.
It’s possible Cell could have done something. But, I don’t think so to be honest.
@@blitz-625everyone lucked out that cell showed up before Buu and not after.
The present androids are absolutely stronger then the future ones. Both with simple scaling of present z fighters being stronger then the past ones due to training with a goal. Secondly when toriyama first made the cell saga it was 19 and 20 that were supposed to be the bad guys in the manga so he hyped them up as being stronger then 17 and 18 with trunks confirming it in a panel as them being the true nightmare but his editor said no those guys look like a joke do something else which then turned into present 17 and 18 taking over the role with cell soon to follow.
He’d have been much stronger training in the hyperbolic time chamber with Goku than Trunks did with Vegeta. No question.

It’s so weird that future Gohan is so weak compared to “our” Gohan. Consider everything that happened in the future, the future Gohan should have a lot more motivation to train and become stronger then “our” Gohan. Future Gohan is even an adult and have not reached ssj 2. Any thoughts about this?

It’s all about the training. I’m pretty sure Gohan and the androids didn’t train together.
In the future timeline he never went to train at the supreme kai planet to unleash his ultimate potential
If Future Gohan went back into the past, he would've trained Teen Gohan to the limit. Imagine if Future Gohan achieved his Beast Form.

F Rage. Such a meaningless form. Trunks achieving Super Saiyan after the loss of his best friend makes sense. If anything, Trunks losing his mother should have triggered Rage.

It’s completely out of character for Gohan to just straight up a nuke an entire city with people in it just to kill the villain. Vegeta would probably do it, though.

People always confused why gohan wasn’t strong as current gohan. It’s cause goku wasn’t there to bet all the odds on him, even letting cell push gohan to the limit when no one else believed in his reasoning. Goku is the real reason why gohan was so strong
Bro, Goku felt Trunks and decided not to get there sooner. Also Gohan would know that Goku would arrive in time to kill Frieza and Cold and not gotten involved (like Trunks originally planned)
What if Kid Goku and Kid Vegeta game the memories of alternate versions of themselves and I mean end of GT and end of Dragon Ball super superhero.
This is how I see it happening Fuu would use the Super Dragon Balls to give a virgin of Goku and Vegeta when they were young these memories now they do not get the powers that come with them because they would completely reject the power because they'd rather gain it themselves the memories on the other hand they would accept because it would show them what they can achieve both Goku and Vegeta do not like being given power they prefer owning it on their own so by only having the memories they would in fact use them to their benefit they would also make sure to spare a few of their enemies like 17 and 18 buu and others and this version of Goku would become smarter because he is already as intelligent as he is in the two series they would only get smarter. I'm also pretty sure that fuu would make sure that they remembered every detail of their life and not forget in order for them to fully utilize it
Now supposably children are supposed to be able to remember things when they are two and a half years old so that is probably when they would remember these two versions of their lives.
The story could be called what if Kid Goku and Kid Vegeta gain memories of alternate versions of themselves or something like that.

Why not use the dragon balls to bring Goku back since it worked bringing back Guru after he died of natural causes (broken heart, htn, stress).

Our Gohan trained with Goku and Piccolo for 3 years plus a year with Goku in the Time Champer our Gohan had ppl stronger then him to train with plus the power up from old kai
future Gohan never went through none of this he had to train on his own and Trunks wasn't strong enough to push him to his limits
Just like future Trunks was able to get stronger while training with a already stronger Vegeta in the time Chamber making him way stronger then training with future Gohan would ever make him
