- This is a glimpse of my trip to Staniel Cay Exumas Bahamas this past week with my son and a friend of mine that never been to The Bahamas. I have been traveling to The Bahamas for many years in my boat, but I became a pilot over a year ago and wanted to share my experience taking my aircraft (Piper pa28) there leaving from my home airport (Kfmy) Paige field Fort Myers to our destination of (Myes) Staniel Cay Exumas. It took me 3 hrs of flying time but a total of 4.5 hrs since I stopped at Fort Lauderdale airport to pick up a life raft for safety and I landed at San Andros (Mayan) to clear customs, Immigrations and refuel. Hope you guys enjoy it. If you guys like the video, please feel free to leave your comments and subscribe to the channel. Safe travels everyone
Thanks for the video. I am flying my family of 4 down to Blackpoint via San Andros the week after Christmas for our first time in the Bahamas. How was clearing customs at San Andros and the covid protocols?
Does San Andros have 100LL now ? GREAT VIDEO !
Yes they do
Beautiful video! Love the camera angles, and your editing work is top notch! Did a very similar trip last weekend with an almost identical route (we cleared customs at Exuma Intl). We did this as a day trip, KHWO (Miami North Perry), MYEF (Exuma Intl), MYES (Staniel Cay), MYNN (Nassau), and KOPF (Miami Opa-Locka) in an SR22.
Where did you stay? And would you mind sharing the exact snorkeling location at 5:20?
Thank you for the support . I stayed in a little house next to the Staniel cay Yatch club.. The 5.20 location is right behind the Staniel cay airport.. Sold my piper 6x buying an sr22 very soon...
I've watched Miami to Exuma's more times than I should admit. Your the reason I took my boat from Toronto to the Bahama's. Keep the videos coming
Thank you for the support
Is that a tentagraph? 4:04
Is an old seiko watch I had for many years ... definitely not as expensive as the tentagraph models..
