when take off you feel the lag really bad.. no sport buttom option.. cvt and turbo wont let you take off fast when you need it because the lag it has..
This is the most popular 3 row SUV currently with standard Symmetrical AWD. It is way better than the B9 Tribeca/Tribeca with the H-6 engine in the 2000s through early 2010s. The Subaru Ascent is due for a redesign, hopefully with the new platform and new powertrain, which could include a hybrid system.

@@ericpizarro3084 wording is ambiguous if you want to make that argument. What other offerings outside of subaru that are 3 rows that have "symmetrical all wheel drive"?
@@Suction_ my friend, AWD makes BIG difference when driving under bad weather conditions. Not only snow but severe rain storm. AWD prevents slippery conditions. One thing is to say that the most popular SUV is the Toyota Highlander and another is to say is the best. It’s not.
My best friend wife drives a 2019 Toyota Highlander Limited. They both went with us on a trip on my wife Subaru Ascent Limited and both agreed that our have better driving handling. It’s all about preference. I also owns a 2009 Toyota Venza and will never sell it although it has over 265,000 miles. We also had 2012 Subaru Outback and lasted 287,000 miles before selling it for another Subaru. Lastly keep in mind that (if you didn’t know) Toyota owns 20% of Subaru shares and is the biggest stock holder of Subaru.
@@ericpizarro3084 the original point was to correct that it was the most popular 3 row. It’s not. It’s the Highlander. I don’t need a philosophical reason to why, even though it’s not that hard to figure out.
wireless carplay disconects every 10-15min.. front a/c full blast is really loud.. seats a/c fans they keep getting louder the more you use it😂

From the looks of it the 2024 Subaru could just as well be a 2004 Subaru.
worst 3rd row seat belts for adults.. even worst if you install car seats.. 260hp 7 passengers and luggage that CVT screams for help worst goin up hills

Ignorant comment. 2.4L turbo is very competitive in its class. It gets up and goes just fine.
Able to tow up to 5,000 lbs. I wouldn't call that underpowered..
