I just have issues with some of the music played in these battles, I really enjoy watching the dancers, but I would kind of like to enjoy the music also.. question, do the dancers know what music might be played during their battles, like is there a list to pick from, kind of wondered, or is it totally up to the DJ ???
Ms. McGaugh, Poppin' or pop-locking is a "Cali" originated art form. Funk music old school and new is the preferred music for west-coast based poppers!
i think theres a playlist before the battles that dancers are given to listen to and its random after that. like a pool of songs, but i dont know either.
it's a credit to the dancers they can still make such uninspiring music interesting. welcome to 'popping music' or loops/edits or whatever they call it.
