For anyone saying just use superglue, some plastics (if it says PP or PE) are oily and only get glued by melting. There are some very expensive industrial glues for these plastics that still will not hold as well as melting. Very good video.

Excellent tips on how to weld plastics and make useful tips for a soldering iron. One suggestion on the triangle plastic repair: The metal mesh used is a little too small as it should overlap on the borders of the repair piece. Also, consider using the plastic from the offcut (the broken piece) to melt over the mesh to fully cover it. If you don't have stainless steel mesh, use fly screen mesh....or a small piece of NEW steel wool, the one you use to wash dishes. Keep them coming!

    • @brookelord3448

What was ruined? The nail and the razor can be reused if you have to fix something else. If you don't have a broken wire strainer you can buy wire mesh but for about $1.25 you can buy a wire strainer. All pens eventually run out of ink so use one that's out of ink: use common sense.
