-Where are you from? The Bahamas🇧🇸
-How long have you been growing your hair? Since September 9th 2020 which is my big chop date.
-What is your hair type? Low porosity, medium density and type 4 mostly 4b mixed with a little 4a.
-Do you always use heat to deep condition? Yes every week.
-Do you only wear twists? Yes like 90% of the time. If it's not in twists I'm rocking a high puff.

I was literally thinking about you today, and wondering how come I have not received a notification and here you are. So funny because my hair is always so dry, no matter how I use high-end shampoos and conditioner. I literally started using lustra silk and the curly kinky gel to seal, the best thing ever. Moisture all week, no need to re-moisturize. I just add some oil on the ends a few times a week and that is it. I use the kinky curly knot today as well for leave-in, but the lutrasilk is the best and it is cheap.
Thank you for the suggestion of Lustrasilk- good to have options. I was just about to use the Kinky Curly system to start twisting my hair.
@@dariapio1502 I use the knot today and leave a plastic cap on for a few minutes (makes a big difference using the plastic cap for any leave-in), but it is not as moisturizing as the lustrasik. I do not need to moisturize my hair again for the entire week. I did the same with my daughter's hair; her hair pattern is more 4a-3b and mid-waist. It came out sooo soft and shiny (I put twists in her hair), never has her hair been sooo silky smooth. I'm actually going to leave it in for another week before washing it. Her grandma had given me a bottle of lutrasilk but I didn't really care for it because it can be sticky because of the glycerine but with the kinky curly gel, it is amazing. My new go to.

Hey hun I'm back with weekly videos 💖. I have to try the lutrasilk. I use to fall for the high end products but most of them dried out my hair. I stick with what works and what's affordable.
@@GlowupwithPaige Honestly, it is affordable and has worked well with the kinky curly gel. Just a matter of figuring out how much to use so that your hair do not feel too sticky

OMG I just bought that same gel and started using it a few weeks ago. It doesn't dry out my hair like most gels, but the shrinkage creeps up over the next couple of days. So it looks stretch at first, but that doesn't last.
Yup you're right about the shrinkage part. It's just marketing lol.

i have low porosity hair, i have never used castor oil before, thinking it will weigh my hair down since it's heavy
