Its my first longer Flight with the New Betaflight 4.3 Preset from iflight.
Quad: Iflight Chimera 7 Pro
Batterie: 2600mah Lipo

Thanks for the head up about BF 4.3 preset from iFlight! I haven't realized they released it! Last time I checked, they had 4.2.11 preset. Going to update my baby!

Im not sure if they have the preset on there homepage. But you can find the preset in the "preset" tab on betaflight. It is very easy to update :)

I flew with a 2600mah LiPo. And the flight time was about 8min 30s.

Das ist jetzt "fast" das Preset von Patrick Xing, also von Iflight.
Einzig die Einstellung für "dynamic Idle thrust" habe ich noch zusätzlich aktiviert. Ansonsten ist alles wie vom Preset vorgesehen.
Fliegt echt zimlich gut!

Impressive range with a 2.600 mAh Lipo ! The colors on the return flight are phantastic 🤩🫶. Do you remember the cell voltage at landing ? 3.6 Volt or lower ? Again : brilliant flight 🏆✊.
Thank you! Sorry i dont remember 100%. But i think it was over 3.6v. Because i flew a nice landing volte.
If the battery had been low, I would have landed straight away. So i know it was not close :)

Hi, Thank you. in this flight i use the Iflight 4.3 Preset from patrick Xing, and my rates are a bit lower than the stock rates, with a bit moore expo, but not much. The Iflight 4.3 Preset from Patrick fly's realy awesome!

It was a Flight of 8 minutes. Moore is not possible with this batterie.
But yeah the quad is stock. The Chimera 7 pro has 1250kv 2809 motors. And 7.5 inch 3 bladed props

For starting FPV i would recommend you a smaller quad. 5 inch or even smaller like a tiny whoop.
A big quad is expensive when it comes to repairs, and its dangerous.
For beginning you can just buy a remote control amd start flying in the simulator.

Hi, how much mW for the VTX ? 700, 1000 or 1200W ? And for the RX, 500 ou 1000 W ? Thank for your answer. By the way, awesome video !! With a Li-ion 4000mA 6S you can fly 15-18mn easy with this skills.
Thank you very much, i change the output Power from the transmitter in relation to the expected flight distance, because i try to fly as legal as possible.
But the max i can is 1200 for the VTX and 1000 for the RX.

Hi, where can I get betaflight 4.3 target for the CHimera 7 Pro?
You can just flash the stock BF 4.3 fimware.
And than load the Preset for the chimera 7.

In this flight i used normal lipos
2600mah.
But for this quad i would recommand you bigger Batteries.

My limit is allways the Video Signal. And that is about 5 to 13km (its very different in different areas!)

Wie lange fligst du mit einem akku?
Kommt logischerweise auf den Akku an. Mit dem2600mah Lipo, ca. 6-8 minuten. Mit 8000mah Li ion sind 20-30 minuten möglich.
Der alte chimera ist aber effizienter. Mit dem altem Chimera (1300kv) fliege ich immer so 20% länger mit demselbem akku.

Mit einer Go Pro Hero 10 (komplett mit Akku), und dem 2600mah Lipo, komme ich auf ein Abfluggewicht von 1275gram.
Mit den parallellen 8000mah Li ionen pack komme ich auf 1750g. Das ist schon ein echter brummer!

@@fpv-hornet7050 Also mit dem Lipo geht es noch recht gut! (also bin kein Freestyle Profi, aber für mein empfinden). Denn der Chimera 7 Pro hat mit den 2809 Motoren wirklich extrem viel Power!
Abgesehen davon ist es ein Long range Quad, der möglichst lange und weit fliegen soll^^. Zum Freestylen sind natürlich 5" besser geeignet
