I was looking at a tiny house on wheels. While circumstances changed and I didn’t proceed, Treehab was my favoured company due to design, quality and the incredible professionalism of Riley and the Treehab team.
A few improvements they could do: In the bathroom put the window over the toilet and a medicine cabinet/mirror over the sink. Instead of ridiculously deep cubby shelves, do a pull out "pantry" style closet. In the bedroom: Have at least one closet with a clothes hanging rod. In the kitchen: the sink dish drain takes up too much counter space. Do an under mount dish rack under the cabinets. Where that tiny table is, have a wall mounted flip up table for two. To solve the TV problem: Instead of a Loveseat, have to swivel recliners on casters. Put the TV where the wall painting is now.
Re the TV: You could potentially mount some sort of projector on one wall & have a blind over the bi-fold to act as a screen. After dark, anyway. But who wants to sit watching TV when it's sunny outside. Also in Australia, with that amount of windows space, some type of windows covering and/or external shading is vital to keep internal temperatures down in summer, and protect heat from escaping at night in winter. Haven't seen the whole video yet to know what the heating & cooling systems are like, but passive measures will help save energy/costs if there is some.
This is so beautiful! I stopped watching a lot of other tiny home content because so many of them have similar interior layouts, but this is stunning and refreshing.

This is actually lovely. It's small but perfectly formed. I agree with the window in the bedroom. I would sacrifice the sliding door for a little more wall space. For storage/tv. Thanks for the detailed description and tour.v
I’d put an oversized loveseat rather than a couch and set it against the bedroom wall rather than the back wall for a larger room feel I also only want one loft. This is a great tiny! P.S. you ask a silly question but I’ll still answer, Yes! I would live in this Tiny. 🥰
Oowww my god 😯🤩😍🥰😘this tiny home is the best, I really like the sliding doors in the master bad room, and the cabinets, and the color of the house is really amazing to look at,😘
Very beautiful and very well laid out. Personally I would have preferred that they add just one more foot in length to the kitchen for just a bit more length to the countertop and a bit more length to the table. Also, I would really love having a window where the table is. When eating or drinking coffee I like to look outside, and even if you use it as a workspace, sometimes it’s nice to refocus your eyes on something in the distance after staring at a screen for any length of time.
Such a beautiful tiny house! It looks so small from the outside, but when inside, it looks so much bigger. First time watching your video. The camera work and editing was amazing and you presented it very well.
That's great that you want to find a space for a TV in your tiny home! However, I encourage you to really think about if a TV is necessary in such a small space. Remember that tiny homes are about living simply and with less stuff. If you still feel like you need a TV, I recommend checking out www.drewanthony.ca for more information about the best ways to incorporate one into your tiny home.
It's great that you're excited about having a TV in your tiny home, however there may be restrictions based on the size of the home and where it is located. Please contact me at www.drewanthony.ca to discuss further.
This is gorgeous! Clearly it is high quality. I love the clean, minimalist style and light bright color/finish selections. I will tell you, if you haven’t discovered them yet, Moveable Roots in Melbourne Florida, also builds their tiny homes with cold formed steel and to higher standards, due to being in a hurricane prone state. You may wish to check them out because the steel, as you know makes for a lighter, yet more rigid unit that can withstand the racking and movement of transport a bit better than wood.
@@drewanthonyb thank you for your videos and information! I’m in the process of choosing a tiny home builder and deciding style, options, etc. I really like the steel framing. Being from Florida, and living thru 7 hurricanes in a traditional site built home, structural integrity is at the top of my list for THOW construction though I’ll be moving it to the NC mountain region. Once you live thru crazy weather you look for the soundest option available. I thing steel is the route I’ll go. Thanks again!
I think I would be fine without a TV but then again, you could put one where the painting was next to the couch attached to the wall or use a white curtain on the main door, add a shelf above the window behind the couch and put a projector on it. Attach a fire stick to it for example and you're good to go
I'm like you, i would be fine without a TV and would also use my laptop. There is probably a little more headroom in an Australian tiny home, because they are allowed to be 14 feet tall. BTW I love the interior design of Australian tiny houses. No farmhouse vibe, which is so common in Canadian tiny houses.
That's great to hear! It's so rewarding living in a tiny home and experiencing the freedom that accompanies it. If you ever need any help or advice along the way, I'm always happy to lend a helping hand. Yes, nice to see a Tiny Home with three spaces for sleeping - small families with a few kids and some storage use - nice. Love the blue steel framing structural system for construction integrity
Beautiful house and well made video. A couple of small changes I would make: turn the kitchen sink the other way so as to make it possible to have dirty dishes, sink, dish drying in order. Also, no white grout, a nightmare to clean. I might even go for that weird fake paneling made of vinyl. No grout, lighter, cheaper and looks sort of ok.
Nice design, I especially like the bedroom where you can walk round the bed. At least one of those cupboards should have some hanging space. The kitchen however had virtually no pantry space and the prep space was tiny which I think could be a problem.
That's a great question! In a tiny home, space is limited so it is important to get creative when it comes to storage. Towel racks are a great option if you have enough wall space. If not, you can also use metal over-the-door towel racks or even hang a tension rod in the shower and use S-hooks to hang your towel.
That depends on the size of your tiny home and where the bathroom is located. Generally speaking, you can hang your towel on a hook near the shower or on a nearby wall. You can also look into investing in a towel rack or a hook rack for easy access and storage of your towels.
There is so much storage. There is becoming less and less room in the kitchen for food storage. It's a dealbreaker to not have a pantry. There seems to be so much excitement about the bathrooms. The least important room to me is the bathroom, although I am fussy to keep it clean.
Having aluminum studs (rather galvanized steel) on the outer walls isn’t more durable…in fact the frame moves a lot while the rig is moving.. it vibrates whereas wood absorbs more of that vibration. I do like the layout of the home though.
Can I order from Canada and get to US ? Where can I park it? How much does it cost?. Does it come with everything in it as you explain and see? Or do I supply interior?

Great idea to finish inside walls first then plumb and electrical from outside which is easier for contractors.
