The potenciometer graduates the capacitor discharging time because of its variable resistence and the result is used as an output signal. It is probably a door sensor issue that is causing this.
That elevator looks like it was installed in the 1960’s so it should have that problem sometimes.
These were installed in 1975 and have since been modernized in 2016.
Yes, you never ride lifts 1960’s or below
When you try to reprogram a lift to make it say random stuff on each floor but you end up with this.

it was probably the controller mesed up
Not their fault it's either Sensor bar fault/Sensor fault what it means the elevator thinks it detects a object/person so it will open the doors
