I loved your tutorial. Thanks! I just made this cake. The only problem I had was with the cookie spreading. I used your recipe, but still had trouble with it spreading while cooking. I had to cook 3 different ones. It ended up looking fantastic, though. I would also like your cookie icing recipe and your buttercream recipe. Thanks again!

I made this and it turned out great ! I made a few changes to suit my time schedule/ingrediant
1. I used left over fondant to cover cookie instead of icing. less messy and more opaque
2. I used cream cheese frosting between layers and piped the kisses instead of making meridian

I have make this cake today. Very very hard to find a cookie recipe that doesn't spread when you bake it. After 6 attempts and 2 different recipes I regal iced cardboard to make it work. It does look fantastic now it is done though. I wonder what recipe you used on this cookie.
