This gun reminds me of the explosive rifle from Red Dead Redemption. Single shot, but it blows everything up. Looking forward to trying it.
Except the railgun shots don't explode if you miss, they only explode on target
You don't need to do the challenges you can just get it by finishing half of the story mode. (After poletobay heist)
You will unlock the railgun to buy after beating Minor Turbulence, at least according to GTA series videos

There is two ammunations with shooting ranges one in pillboxhill and one in east los Santos.
I have a question for the people who got the game early. Were you guys able to buy the brand new submarine online? Cause i don't know if it was a bug or glitch, but i went to the docks website online where you can buy boats, and it had the brand new submarine in it. and i bought it. so if the submarine is in mulitplayer, then there might be a very very possible chance that there will be animals in online. hopefully there will be. i wanna explore the ocean with friends

its on PC as well. some hacker got on and shit weant crazy but the important thing is that he crashed everyones game but my game. and i looked and somehow i had one of every gun and full ammo includding a rail gun. i didnt get to record it though cause my damn raptr program that records past 2 minutes doesnt like fraps. i tried to close it and the shit program crashed my game. so yeah.

A WAY easier thing to do is aiming at the ground and fire. It should kill you. When u respawn you'll have it.

Or you can shoot at your feet to get it for free while at the shooting range. Or get it from the crashed cargo plane.
Wait if the glitch that transferred story mode charecters to online and you have the guns from story then wouldn't you have the rail gun ?
for some reason when I did what you did the railgun was not in the ammo nation with range aka ( the bonus )

How do you get ammo then? If you can't access it in the ammunation then how do you get more ammo?
You are aloud to purchase it after the Minor Turbulence mission, not sure about ammo though as I'm not that far in SP yet.
Samuel Wragg im not sure about ammo, but you can use the shooting range glitch to get more ammo for free
Renil Daniel Oh thanks for the info, I reached that part of the game and indeed, after Minor Turbulence you can buy the gun and ammo but the gun alone is 250 grand. Fuck that.

I played gta v last year on my xbox 360 and now I have a ps4 will I be able to redeem it or will I have to get an xbox one?
You can redeem it on PC, Xbox One, or PS4, but you can only redeem it on one of them. Since you already have a PS4, you can redeem it on that. Although, you need to be a part of Rockstar Social club (Free to join), and you need to have connected it to your online character.

You know. Graphics are much better. No complaint there. But who the fuck wants to play story mode again after playing it the first time?? Rockstar could of gave us a free car and a couple free weapons for returning online users. Maybe a discount on a third property?? Kind of upsetting after having to buy the game twice.

Is this halo inspired, or did rockstar just create it from scratch and it just really resembles the rail gun from halo 4
Halo didn't invent the railgun, the designs for railguns in all games look almost identical because they are probably based off of the same design.
Rail guns are a real thing. The concept isn't very complicated. But they very well may have based it on halo's.
Large railguns mounted on battleships are a real thing, we don't have the means to power a handheld one though. This railgun also kinda looks like the one in battlefield 4.

***** There are hand held ones .... but nothing even close to the power of this they are as strong as maybe bb guns thats it but they are cool and there are videos on how to make them online :P

Get it by doing minor turbulence. THE mission an I did all gold be for i watched any videos an i didn't he it so I looked it up then do in this guy an he did complete the campaign he said it in his own words. Now Idk if he was trollin y'all or anything but I'm not gonna hate Cause I don't know his channel or any thing so all I can say either it bugged out OR he lied it's all I can say.

I can't obtain the rail gun at all. I have similar problems when I'm playing online on my ps4. When im online i dont have a option to buy a submarine, or monster truck or a dodo plane, everyone else from my clan (HRV1) can buy it with no problem, but i can't. Even my little brother who is playing on a nother profile can buy it.....i dont understand :( :(

You have to get on gta 5 xbox360 go to swap then hit delete it then wait 10secs and it will ask if you want it to go to ps4 or xbox1

+Damidas 少年 It fires inert metal rods via electromagnets, not beams of pure energy. Though if the rod is pulled out... There shouldn't be recoil... right?
