I totally agree with you Penny because at the end of the day it's a BABY 🍼 it doesn't matter about the SKIN COLOR..BOY,GIRL & or ECT. I'm STARTING to REALIZE that more and more now because I myself have a BIRACIAL son who is my RAINBOW 🌈 BABY ♂️ BUT THE SAD PART IS it's so MANY EVIL people in this WORLD!!& The ONLY THING THEY SEE IS(COLOR)!! In my opinion there is no such thing as BLACK 🖤 OR WHITE ‼️ 🤍 BECAUSE at the end of the day we all are HUMAN BEING and we all BLEED the same COLOR WHICH IS 🤝 🩸 (R.E.D) as long as that BABY is HAPPY & HEALTHY & 😍 LOVED that's all that MATTERS!

They are doing this the BEST WAY!!! That boy is going up knowing his birth mom and his adopted parents. What would be confusing is him growing up and recognizing he is different because of his skin color and then wondering why. Him knowing from birth that momma Kayla is his birth mom will be much more healing. Especially him knowing that they all have a relationship. That baby won the lottery!

I think this entire situation was divinely orchestrated. There’s no doubt how much love exists between Steven, Ashley, and MaKayla and they are meant to be in each other’s lives exactly as they are. No more and no less.
Ashley got to learn that she doesn’t have to carry a baby to be a mother, and now that she’s pregnant, she gets to experience both sides of motherhood…that’s beautiful, and really special.
MaKayla gets to be TT and watch Abriel become a big brother without the additional emotional/physical aspect of giving birth… i think this has all worked out for the betterment of everyone involved.

I think that what they're doing is right. My older brother was adopted. My parents never told him because they did not want him to feel different than the other kids. He found out through the grapevine, & spiralled out of control. He's now deceased. The rejection was just to great, and the fact that my family lied to keep it hidden, trying to "Protect" him, just made him all the more angry. In the end always tell the truth....It's easier to remember. Telling lies leads to turmoil.

I do agree I've known friends that we're adopted one parents was involved one where they weren't but as he gets older he's gonna wanna know why me bio mom has 3 other siblings he's def gonna ask tuff questions as he grows it's normal with adoption

So many adopted children are kept in the dark about their adoption and the effects are astronomical. My grandmothers best friend was given one of the dna test kits like 23 and me a few years back and at 74 years old she found out through that test that her mom and dad were not her biological parents. Her parents bio and adopted are all dead. All her siblings were later confirmed to be the biological children of the adopted parents. I mean the impact it had was huge. One day she’s the oldest of 9 siblings and within a month she learns she has no biological family. It’s heart wrenching. So the fact that McKayla is so involved is beautiful and I love the special friendship that they’ve created. McKayla is such an amazing woman and mother. I mean she’s so beautiful and selfless.

This is the first time I'm not on the same page with Karamo. When you're growing up in that situation, you don't find it confusing until you're much older and by that time you can understand better. The important thing is that the children are surrounded by love. The same situation without care and love would be catastrophic but that's not the case in this instance.

Honesty in adoption is never confusing. Dishonesty and omission is confusing. My mom has my son and he is 8 now and just found out I'm his birth mom and not his sister. That's confusing. Knowing from the beginning makes it just what it is and confusion is rarely an issue. My husband is also adopted and is very thankful his parents never told him anything other than the truth.

I think only because of judgements on one interview she talked about how she was dark compared to her siblings that they didn't look alike they look more white like her mom and that her kids too since they were biracial they were a lot lighter I just didn't know why I was an important for her to bring that up maybe she does have an issue can somebody biracial kids grow up like that because other people teasing from being darker and maybe she didn't want him going through that

As a black mother, I get why people would wonder and may "raise an eyebrow" when a white couple adopts a black child ( I've seen many individuals foster/adopt children for HORRIBLE reasons; therefore, white guilt isn't so far-fetched). ***HOWEVER*** the care and thought this child's adopted parents made to ensure this child is connected to his culture is nothing but wonderful and shows their true love for their baby. It is such a blessing this child has such a family filled with so much love and selflessness.

I know that she may have been very nervous and misspoke but I think with her saying she writes him letters every year about what he's missing out on maybe very hurtful to him in the future because although she has a reason for giving him up he will always wonder why she kept her older kids. I understand life and things happen but this is very much a delicate situation. I can tell she is still hurting with her decision and I pray she finds peace. The adoptive parents are a blessing and doing what they think is best. I can tell they want to keep the lines of communication open with the birth mom and thats wonderful but there has to be some boundaries (I dont think the birth mom is doing it intentionally she is just still torn). However one thing for sure is that the young man has a village of love around him and thats what needs to be the focus. 💕

Many mothers that don't have trouble conceiving and carrying children worry about how their 1st child will feel when they have their second child or how they'll feel about the second.

I feel like they are all trying to compromise waaaay to much to make this work. I feel like Ashley is afraid to carry herself because she doesn’t want Abriel to feel different or less loved and Kayla offered to be their surrogate so they don’t have to look for another carrier, increasing the confusion in this baby boy’s life. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I truly love this family, watching the special bond between his mom & Steven is so heart melting. As for Kayla, she did the most unselfish thing a parent could do. I can't imagine the emotions, as a mom of 3 girls your body knows you just gave birth. Your body is telling you time to wake up feed & change the baby, you miss the movements & the little hiccups ect. And for her willing to do this all over again for them shows just how much she loves the family she made for her son.. anyone with eyes and ears and can see the love they have for that beautiful boy is real.. I am glad she waited and they were able to conceive and have their own biological baby, because if anyone was ment to be parents it's them. I have 3 biracial daughters, 2 have their own kids now. My oldest is married to a black man, so their kids are more black with a sprinkle of white and my youngest had a 2 yr old and his daddy is white, so he's more white than black. But we don't see color in our family. I don't care what color a child is or who chooses to adopt them, as long as they are loved 100000% blood or not. Their are alot of kids in foster homes & group homes in the system who don't get kisses and stories and cuddles when they are sick or happy. That little man will never know that feeling.. from his bio mom & siblings to his adopted family as well.
