Ron Shillingford I already have 2 of the 6.5 prv neos up front, and 4 of the original prv midrange 6x9s in the back. At this time I have only around 75 watts RMS going to each speaker. And it’s loud. Everyone ha the s being next to me or near because they can’t hear their stereo lol. So imagine, everything changed to the bullet line, and in the 8’s and everything powered by 2-taramps 1200.1 it’s gonna be nasty. Have my daughter for the summer, so I don’t ride when she is here. Aug 6th, the swap begins 🤙🏻
Anthony delgrosso I love hearing that because I didn't know who to go with and Hertz hurt the pockets. I have a single side short exhaust and it's drowning out my factory speakers. I want to get 4 prv super tweeters tw450ti, 2 6mr400 bullet 6 ' midrange, 4 6x9 69mr500 bullet. I think that is a good start for now and by what you and Mike says I should be very happy with the sound.
Ron Shillingford i can tell you, hertz is good. But over priced. I have never had PRV let me down. These aren’t even water proof, got caught in a massive storm last year coming home from bike week in OC Maryland. I was worried my speakers were trashed. Guess what? Still rocking, no issues lol. Try to get 100 minimum watts to each speaker. Prv really shines when they are properly powered.
High pass filter is what you should be setting on the amp not low pass. You don't need to cut their low frequencies out below 60hz like you are, you need to cut their high frequencies from say 3-500 or 5000hz up that will measure the speakers more fairly for their intended mid-range frequencies. Cause the Prv is more of a full range speaker and the fatal pro is more strictly a mid range, not a fair comparison without something limiting their upper frequencies to the same. The fatal will need a much simpler crossover to run with a tweeter bu the prv will need a more complicated -12bd octave to seperate the trebble from the mid frequencies better. Otherwise you have the mid and the tweeter playing the same frequencies in a certain range and that sound terrible. For me they sound nearly identical in the bass and mid section. Ive got the 8" Timpano Bullets they are more full range than mid and i'm having to deal with that in the crossover department so my orion tweeters sound good all together with the Timpano's.
Yes, same suggestion to Mike because most of us have tweeters and horns that cover the upper frequencies. We need a test from 90 Hz to about 2.5KHZ to 3.5 KHZ!!!
This has been one of the most useful RUclips pages on audio in a long time. That phase plug in that PRV is doing wonders for its upper-frequency range response. It will make installation easy for persons who don't have much knowledge on crossovers or who will use those supertweeters that can't play low. For me I still love the tone of the faital pro it's cool, sounds deeper and it doesn't scream as much but everyone has a preference and you make it easy for us to choose Mike! I would like to ask that you use the tweeters sometimes so we can hear them with tweeters too. Keep the videos coming!
Dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream all the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother these days xD
The prv for the win, the alround clarity and fullness is amazing and the beautiful is it can be used to replace factory 2way speakers and get a full range sound with much higher quality....also love how it doesn't have to have a tweeter, so giving you greater tuning range with less processing equipment....nice reveiw thanks as always 🇹🇹b🇹🇹a🇹🇹g🇹🇹o🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹in 🇹🇹the 🏘🏘🏘🏘🇹🇹T🇹🇹n🇹🇹T🙂
Thanks for the breakdown on specifications Good Job, Keep in mind (2:10 sec) The Bullet in the PRV works as a HIGH FREQUENCY (Super) Tweeter. Making the Speaker more efficient
Yes yes this is what I love to see two titans going against each other love Fatial Pro but got to say Prv had this one for sure great job PRV keep up the good work.
Great video. That PRV is awesome guys, plays up to 20 KHZ?!. No need for tweeters then! I am connected through my computer speakers and the difference is a lot more high end frequencies from the PRV.
Mike, it would be really nice if you can have tests to cut out 1.5KHZ and above so that we can hear the actual quality difference within a certain frequency range. Most persons use 3 way set up in high end car audio. What do you think?
Mike check out the prv 6FR200. 80-20,000 hz without a bullet! I already ordered 4. Changed my mind about the 4 8mb450 to the 6fr200. And they are priced at around $40 each.
Mike thank you for the videos you do they are very helpfull can you help me on choosing the right speakers for my 2016 honda accord wich speakers do you suggest are good for component speakers conected to an amplifier im looking for loud and clear im even willing to make my car speaker door size bigger to maybe fit 8" what do you think.
Hello Mike. Bravo for what you do on. It's cool to see someone honest with the real performances of speakers. Do you think you can test an Audax hm210z12 vs prv 8 mr500 bullet or Faital fe200 or timpano. These Audax speaker have a good réputation in home audio and it can only handle 60/70 watts nominal power. It cost around 300 dollar pair. It is a popular midbass speaker. This could be interesting to compare whith best 8 inches mid-bass speakers you had already test. Best regards. Fred. Sorry, my english is so bad...
I'll go faital pro why? Iff it's comes to a audio battel faital gonna give clear sound it kicks good it's al about the box your gonna play with The prv are not bad how louder you you get more of the tweet sound that's why
Hi, Mike between the prv 8' bullet and the db Silvesters which sound better and cleaner in your opinion. Can you make a comparison on them? They are the same price and have high frequency capacity!
There's a 6.5 that sounds alot better than the PRV 6.5 and that's Rockville RM64pro's, trust me. They've been tested side by side and made plenty of people (including myself) believers & buyers 🤷🏾♂️
@@LIFEINSPEED yes sir it is Rockville RM84pro's if you want the 8ohm model just replace the 4 with an 8. Look forward to your opinion/reaction to those speakers.

Bro am thinking of doing the same setup with my street glide
Make sure you share with us that's amazing build and I will add your videos on my channel
