I posted a comment on BGG proposing they add your name to thank in the 3rd edition rules. Your coverage of the game is amazing. This does look like an interesting map. One of the things I love about Emmanuel's games is the amazing variety of variants that keeps his games from feeling like the same experience over and over. Enough praise - on to the next map!
@@davidlhsl Thank you so much, that would be awesome. I am mentioned somewhere in one of the books, as I did help design 1 of the optimal rules for D-Day dice pocket! Sometimes I feel like I should rename this channel "D-Day Dice Channel" 😂 Yes this map is great fun! I like almost all maps from the basic game, but I think the game shines when you introduce the expansions and their modules! I can't wait for Way to Hell which is my favorite!
Thanks mate, and your prononciation of "Château de Vaumicel" is almost perfect except for the "C" of Vaumicel which is more like the "S" of Sergeant. Yes, I would also like to have a clarification for the Engineer if multiple bunkers are involved on the map. Maybe Emmanuel who seems to watch these video at least from time to time could answer in here ? Ultimately, I have a doubt. Can you remember me if one can buy multiple objets or recruit multiple units per turn ? Pretty sure it is in the rules but I have my fog of war moment right now o_O And again thanks a lot. Very appreciated as a big fan of D-Day Dice. PS: I never saw a video of Undaunted (Normandy, North Africa, Stalingrad) on your channel ? Is there a particular reason ?
@@davidg.1387 Merci! Trying my best 😄 Regarding the Engineer: I've read up on that and it does indeed work for EVERY bunker that you enter! The Flamethrower is indeed a one time use item. You can only recruit 1 specialist/turn and find 1 item/turn, that is also true for awards, you can purchase a maximum of 1 award/turn. I never bought any of the Undaunted games and I was never asked by the publisher about any review copies either. As I find my collection getting larger and larger, including hundreds of titles, I have decided to mainly buy true solo games, not games with solo mode or games that require solo expansions.
@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel Thanks for the clarifications and glad the engineer is able to do his magic on multiple bunker as the contrary would have been unthematic (is this a word?). And yes I forgot that Undaunted isn't a solo game. Stupid me. A light and nice one anyway but for two players. Ah, almost forgot. Do you intend to try the Overlord Campaign ? I reckon there is a solo mode for it. I am glad I could ultimately put my hand on the neoprene mega map playmat 🥰
@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel That's really great ! Atlantikwall is also most wanted. How would a run from the other side look like ? Never saw a play trough :D
As always: a pleasure to see your playthroughs. I envy you a little that you have the time for this hobby and your RUclips channel. You are doing really well. Right now I'm spending my scarce free time on Warfighter WW2 - Airborne (fun but hard). But it will soon be time for D-Day Dice again. I got a little curious about the name on the Battle Map: "Château de Vaumicel" or "Manoir de Vaumicel". It is located just behind Omaha Beach near Vierville-sur-Mer. It is mentioned here (replace _ with /): history.army.mil_books_wwii_100-11_ch5.htm First paragraph: Vierville Area
Thank you! I love Warfighter as well, but I have yet to play the NA and Med games. Soon I hope. My time is also a bit scarce, which is why I am playing lighter games now :D Yes there are quite many airborne maps in DDD! I hope you are having a great summer in DK, I miss Copenhagen!

@@davidg.1387 Check my channel, I am the only one who did an Atlantikwall playthrough as Germans, and of course more is coming!
