When you walked around the microphone in the wooded environment I think was the best way to represent how these microphones work. I could hear you move around the microphone in my headphones from the right ear to the left which created a realistic surround sound. Even in the train station I felt I was right there. Good video! Good microphone!

You can also perceive sounds from above and below you, rather than a stereo field of left and right, and of course a sense of distance, or extreme closeness - like invasion of personal space if too close to the mic!! Though it's all subjective as we all have slightly different shaped ears, but even so, we should still perceive things externally rather than inside our heads with that mic..

@pointfaith Hey there, thank you for your comment. Appreciate that you liked the video. I also think in the forrest the binaural effect worked the best. I especially like the crackling of the twigs on the ground.

@weatherdevil9029 Yes exactly. Thank you for your comment and clarifying. I hope I could show some of these effects in the video. Thanks for watching.

Holy I came from your insta, worth it sounds amassing it’s weird you can hear exactly where everything is coming from, also I think link the regular mic (not spacial) is most like noise cancelling the background while the one with the ears is (sorry I’m not a expert at this)

Ok, my AirPods really don’t have the depth to pick this up. But I know my studio headphones (DT 990 Pro) will better be able to experience this. Asmr creators use similar mics, if not the same model, and I find those to be very immersive with those headphones

Thank you for your comment. With my AirPods Pro I can hear it quite good, but i guess with the DT's it should be even better. I myself am using the DT 1990 Pro and i really like them.
