I agree. I hate to say it but she sounds off key in some of it the songs so I would say that’s why she’s not a lead singer because she doesn’t have the power in her voice.

Nice to hear Tae singing...I find Maddie is usually strong up front & was nice to really hear Tae's voice more...very beautiful..I would love to hear Tae take the lead & sing a song on her own & have Maddie in the background for a change..would be nice to hear...
Maddie is always lead and leads are always stronger. Tae said in a video that she loves doing harmonies and that’s why she likes being second singer.

I wish Maddie would harmonize with tae in the chorus. They sound great but on some live performances it sounds like two people just signing the same song no blending what so ever and I kno that is taes main thing but…

Maddie is lead and Tae does harmonies. Tae loves doing harmonies. They don’t sing the same notes. It’s not a tandem melody. It’s harmonies.

@@madisonthomas1537 well she did kinda just have a premie baby right before this so she might not be feeling like doing this (she might have been wiring about her baby or just wanting to be with her instead). Maddie and Tae have always been best friends (more like sisters), which you really could see at the cmt awards this year.
