This just saved my brisket!!! Got jammed mid cook and thanks to your video I was actually able to un jam it without even taking is apart and pulling it out. I just cleared the jam a little at a time from the top until I could get it moving again, then let it cycle out the remaining pellets that was left

Thank you for the heads up on this issue, I will do that with my upright Pit Boss. I may just have to order the whole assembly since the auger keeps feeding pellets.

I’ve had my pit boss for about 4-5 yrs, always kept it outside under the eves with a cover on it and pellets in it, my mistake and I won’t make that one again, I will drain the pellets from no on, sounds like I have the same issue for the first time, I guess I’m lucky that it hasn’t happened before , also, I have the same rust forming on the bottom front of the unit myself and it disappoints me as well, a wire brush and some black stove paint while I’m
At it I guess, thanks for all the videos , hope the motor isn’t toast

Just take all the pallets out and add some power steering oil on it just enough please don’t put a lot of. That work for mine
