I also wish she had continued using this program. The music and her choreograph gave me goose bumps!!

I wish she had taken the time to develop this program espically the middle piece. LOVE it. :)

This really reminds us how much she developed as a pro. As an amateur, she was rather inconsistent, but, once she turned pro, she seldom missed her 3S, 3T or 3L.
By the way, if I remember correctly, her parents suggested that she go back to the old program because they didn't feel that this program got the audience going (e.g., see her final step sequence). It's quite beautiful to look at, yes, but the "energy" doesn't really come from the audience compared to the Paquita program.

Perhaps the best music EVER in figure skating! I would love it if someone would really develop this program with the choreography and emote to it.

People complain about how "boring" Yuka was - How are they not seeing her choreography, transitions and footwork done with incredible flow and speed? She was the complete package minus the jumps. If you could combined her strengths with Midori's you'd have the greatest figure skater ever.

Yuka's skating is more on the classic/vintage side, very poise, not a lot of dramatics. She's not a character or charismatic figure on the ice or has that strong presence like how Tonya, Surya, Midori or Kristi present but rather an ideal model of a classic skater (Fleming, Button, Hamil etc). That's why some people may interpret her skating to be boring, not necessarily how she skates but what she skates to essentially.

They are forgetting the most important and obvious factor: this is the amateurs. This isn't the professional figure skating ranks where it's heavily on entertainment!

@@alexsdb9712 Whilst I understand your point of view, there are skaters who were in the amateurs were able to express some form of entertainment or presence on the ice whilst still delivering medal winners performances. Kristi Yamaguchi, Jill Trenary, Philippe Candeloro, Eric Millot, Vanessa Gusmeroli Michelle Kwan etc.
Again, this is in no disrespect to Yuka, she wasn't as a captivating skater as others but she presented great skating ability and classical appeal.
