@@apolon_ex It's free, you get them from pulling normal banners lol so you can focus all of your income into operators and weapon banner is just a nice bonus
It takes 30 pulls on character gacha for one weapon 10-pull. It takes 8 "10-pulls" to guarantee a 6 star weapon in the weapon gacha. I would say this is horrible for a gacha system. But if you think about it, this is a 2-for-1 deal. The currency you would normally spend on the weapon banner, you get to spend on the character banner. So you get both a character dupe (E1 at least) and a 6 star weapon. In WuWa terms, you get astrite to spend on the character banners and weapon banners separately. If WuWa had Endfield's weapon gacha system, you could just pull for a dupe of Jiyan or Changli in the character banner and then pick up the sig weapon for free as a bonus. The thing is though, this likely means that character dupes will be pretty important in this game if you're being given this much leverage to at least grab an E1 of a character. They even give you a lower pity guarantee (120 pulls instead of 160) for the first base copy.
@@apolon_exi thought this at first, but it's better because for the same amount of currency that would give you "1 character + 1 sig" in WuWa/Genshin, you are guaranteed to get "1 base copy + 1 dupe (possibly) + 1 sig" instead.

The Endfield character gacha is designed to benefit f2p players who are only aiming for 1 copy of the character, and it is more challenging for the whales who want to max dupe every character. In Genshin, you get a 50/50 coinflip every 90 rolls, and a guarantee at 180 rolls. In Endfield, you always get 50/50 coinflips every 80 rolls. Even if you lost the previous coinflip, the next time will still be a 50/50 without guarantee. HOWEVER, Endfield lets you GUARANTEE the banner character at 120 rolls. This guarantee will disappear after you get the character for the first time. Afterwards, it's all coinflip. This means getting the character for the first time is much easier (120 rolls instead of 180 rolls), but it is harder to get dupes (no guarantees after losing coinflip). Fortunately Endfield dupes don't seem as important as in other games. You will not find gamechanging parts of a character's kit locked behind duplicates; only generic number buffs. The 80 roll coinflip pity carries over between banners, but the 120 roll guarantee gets reset with every banner.

@ I'm quite having a hard time understanding your question so I will just lay this out for you. If you're talking about dupes, this is how it works, If you managed to get the featured op in the banner in the 80th pull or before the 120th pull, the guaranteed 120th pull for the featured op will still be available until you get the 120th pull so now you have a dupe for the op. Everytime you get a 6 star op, the pity goes back to 0.8%. So if you want to get more dupes and max pot your op, then you have to gamble 50/50 for the pulls that point forward. Once you reach 79 pulls and still didn't get any 6 star ops, the 80th pull would be a 50/50 again between the featured 6 star op that you want to get a dupe of and a random 6 star op, this is how the pulls will move forward if you want to max pot your op and already gotten the 120th pull guarantee. You really don't have to worry about 5 star ops because if your lucky, in your 1st 10th pull you can already get the featured 5 star op, every 10 pulls you get a 5 star op, so if your luck is really get, with just 60 pulls you can pull for the featured 5 star op and get all the dupes for the op to get max pot. One important reminder, pity carries over. So if you didn't get any 6 star op in this banner in the entirety of your 79 pulls, in your next pull in the next banner you're gonna get a guaranteed 6 star op with a 50/50 rate between the featured op on the banner and a random 6 star op. Do remember that the guaranteed featured op for the 120th pull does not carry over in the next banner, it only works in that banner and resets everytime a new banner comes out. In this game you can literally get a 6 star op in every 80 pull you make or maybe even lower than that depending on your luck

@ wtf are you talking about, are you just spouting nonsense without reading anything? In which gacha system are you referring exactly, Endfield or the OG AK?
I need to know does the character dupe thingy really change them gameplay wise or just stat like AK
just a small bit of stats that will help you in a pinch, +10% crit dmg, +10% dmg or +50% sp regen on something or +15% on skill dmg
Nothing gameplay wise is locked behing potentials, for now, we'll see how far HG greed will lead this game
@@apolon_ex i just don't understand the dupe aren't important and no disgusting 3 stars in my character pulls and i only need 120 pulls and i will get free weapons pull too
So Where is the greed is exactly
@ 3* are replaced with 4* characters, basically fodder
When you get dupes for your standart characters, you will not feel their strength going up, the curse of AK operators -1 dp potential, basically worthless, at least in Endfield they have more stats increase
"only 120 pulls", this will be specified on release, for now we can't get any info on weekly income, but from dailies alone in a month you can get 24 pulls
"we'll see how far HG greed will lead this game" oh you know, it's their first 3d open-world (slop) game, i'm concerned they will just make it a cashcow for general public, with probable AK style limited banners for 300 pulls (let's hope we won't get any limited banner cancer from AK)
@@apolon_ex seems like pure speculation about currency income being bad
And yeah that wouldn't be a carbon copy potential system they will have more effect but nowhere near genshin or zzz or HSR you know the actual greedy tactics that hoyo use
And yeah this is the first 3D game they have so they wouldn't do what GFL2 did and kill the game for the original fans with dog shit system with stingy monthly income
So again assuming the worst scenario that doesn't even make sense from a financial perspective for them for no reason
@ bruh, as gfl1 veteran i love gfl2 and monthly income is insanly good and you can actualy get every character, because they rerun them every 3 banner or so on cn server
So hard pass of this game ;/ more predatory than Hoyo lolz.
PS: its still hope, that they change this horror system.
Can you tell why is it more predatory than hoyo?
