Pete, Thanks for this series on calibrating sprayers. I bought a Chapin battery operated 4 gallon sprayer and used it for first time yesterday. (wishing I had purchased your recommended 4 gallon on for it looks like less likely to leak. The lid on mine will leak if tilted on its side and slips off if you lift using the lid.) Your calibration series helped tremendously and I am now a fan of your channel. My hand pump sprayer was a pain and now It is being donated to charity, while I order another smaller one battery operated from your website. I like the idea of having separate sprayers for separate applications avoiding damage to turf if residue from roundup.

GCI Turf Services yes and no. My confusion is actually with something that the rep for the RGS said and I'm going to follow up with him about it.
He said that they recommend it being sprayed at 3oz per K with a total volume of 2 gal per K of finished product to get the product watered in the soil. So if a permagreen is applying a quart per K ( with the same 3 oz of RGS), how is it getting the same result. Is it due to the height of the spray heads on the permagreen being so close to the ground (which is a fixed height , pressure and speed of application) ?
Sorry for the lengthy question and truly appreciate the time and effort that you put into trying to help everyone understand the business. You do an excellent job of explaining things to make it easy for people to understand.

Lush Lawns ahhhh! I see now. I actually pay no attention to that. 2 reasons why
1- I’ve sprayed it both ways. Low volume and high volume. The result it the same. No difference.
2- it takes more than 2G/1000 to water in a product. Usually takes 1/2” of rainfall to do that.
That’s my take on this

Can you discuss a spray rig's safety, when used on an incline.
We purchased lake front property that has a lot of slope. The stand on does not look very safe on sloped land. What do you recommend?
