The future is bright for the group as they are all talented. I will not be surprised if some of them debut as solo idols.

it's not their fault there are horrible and sick minded people, Unis is pure talent, they deserve recognition

True, and no matter the ages of these idols, those sick people would always be present. All idols, regardless of age, must be protected. It doesn't make it any less ok for older/of age idols to experience horrible things just because they're older.

Seowon debuted in entertainment years prior to debuting as an idol . i can't seem to get the logic on the difference of debuting as a troth singer and as a part of an idol group . does being a troth idol mean u have no sick minded fans?
is F&F dressing the youngsters of this group inappropriately? Compared to other companies' maknae that are not yet of legal age, i'd say f&f has made a great job in making sure the girls are well dressed, so i don't get it. if i daresay, i think this is also one of the reason why company is pulling back a bit with giving the girls songs that would highlight their charisma. They dont want their girls to be sexualized.
Fact of the matter is, while they are young, their talent is no joke either. 2 of them has great potential in them if given the chance, namely Gehlee and Kotoko. Yunha and Elisia are your all-rounders and Seowon a vocal goddess. together with Yoona and Nana's stage presence and Hyeonju's leadership. They are a force to be reckoned skill-wise.
To sum it up, I don't think there is a problem with debuting them young if they are already out on the internet already. it will be up to the company to protect them.

The right age for an idol to debut is whatever their parents decide and as long as it's legal. KPOP fans need to stop subverting parental & voting rights.

It just so happen that they are so talented that they can keep up with idols that requires to undergo years of training just to be that good, Age should not be a hindrance to anyone to reach their dreams specially if they are really that talented. Those who are seeing this as a problem screams so much of insecurities cause not all can do what they can do compared when others were in their age

Talent is greater than their age i think as long as you are a teenager you can pursue your dream of joining to an idol group .. 💁🏼 you may seems correct but to others like me who became a fanboy i appreciate their hardwork ❤️👌🏼

All of the UNIS girls have a dream to debut since they are really qualified to be idols. Yes, they are very young compared to the other idols who debuted but as long as they are taken care of and loved by many it is fine. Most of them is already working as child actress, model, and even Seowon as solo idol few years ago which is even younger to start.

I was actually on the other side of the fence for this topic about debuting minors but after watching UNIS grow, I am glad that all of these girls achieved their dream.
I’ll admit I was worried about F&F debuting such young girls at a very young age but as I watched all of them grow from the beginning of universe ticket till now… EVERY ONE of those girls dreamed of becoming an IDOL, worked their butts off for it, and chased after that dream. They have the passion for it and if they are sure that’s what they want then I don’t see the reason to not debut them.
I am pretty sure they are safe, I mean us fans know they are, did you see the body guards they hired for them? Those guys are BIG and it’s not just one body guard mind you. Not to mention the girls also have their managers as well and I am also sure that all of those girls parents are heavily involved as well. Example being Elisia’s parents, Gehlee’s parents, and Kotoko’s parents, I see them present from the various contents they post, whether it be in fan meets or showcases.
I guess I am saying, as long as there are safety protocols and adult supervision in place, I’d say why not let them debut. All of those girls are super talented, and they all look happy and healthy. F&F is surely taking good care of them.
And as for sexualizing them, not once have I seen them in a racy costume whatsoever. I believe the staff put a lot of thought into the costumes they make the girls wear to the point where it’s elegant and stylish. Whoever are the people that are sexualizing them are creeps and pedos and should be ashamed of themselves.
As these girls popularity rises, I am sure they will be loved by the whole world. I wholeheartedly am cheering for them. Go UNIS! ❤️

As to the sexualizing thing, those sick people would always be present, and debuting older idols to face them does not make it more ok. All idols, regardless of age, must be protected!
To make a safe space for the girls to achieve their dreams (and away from these sickos), it is the job of the company to protect the idols (which F&F is doing a good job on, so far) and the fans to police their ranks if things go too far.

they maybe young but their talents and skills is way off the charts than those who are in their 20s. They chose to be idols to be idolized by people. and being an idol is a legal job and they are highly protected from creepy people

The age is not a problem, even if it was an infant that can sing or dance well, I would probably be a fan.
Some of us (fanboys) stan talent, good song, and good performances. I wouldn't stan them if they are not talented.
People forget that kpop is about serving music. If some people will sexualize a group whose music is about woman empowerment, then it is their problem.
Again, I do believe that these fanboys appreciate talent.

We have to agree that KPop falls under Entertainment. And Music and Entertainment has no age limit as far as I know. I think it all boils down to age-appropriateness of stages, wardrobes, concepts as such.
When Krystal and Hyuna debut at age 14, with their groups' mature concepts, although they turned out fine, the concern for idol age is quite understandable. But, based on UNIS' songs and stages so far, theyve only been in age-appropriate cutesy concepts.
If we think all of those deep voices and mature men are cradle snatchers or have wild fantasies about the girls they support, that's a little unfair to men, isnt it? Although it may apply to atleast a few, should it be made the reason for little girls not to pursue their dreams? Shouldnt the question be how can young idols be protected from exploitation and harassments, both from from the public and from their companies? And not victim blaming? Are short skirts inappropriate casual wear now? I mean, if youre trying to influence teens from ages 10-15, would you only hire teens between 18-24 to do the job? I mean, cmon.

Fanmeets are supervised as we can all see...It is timed and done in public. Male fans choose to cheer for them because theiy are not anti male/ultra feminist...There are females more than twice the age of boys in boy groups who are big fanneys of these....Are they all predators or they just want to have someone oy a group to root for and have a fandom to belong too? If these fanmeets are done in public with aduls always supervising/watching what's going on then it is all fine. Parents should worry more of their kids having relationships at such young age without their knowledge, getting pregnant/ gotten someone pregnant or flunking in school orgetting hooked on illegal substances...

Who said they're sexualized by men? Also what's your point saying that the fanchant is dominated by men. Of course in that stage most are men. But if you check the Fansign event you'll hear a lot of women screaming. 😅 You have Subtle hate for UNIS?
