maybe dw8 and dw8xl games are in different regions. You must have games from the same region.

Kayaknya bisa deh.
Setau saya, hanya butuh base game dw8 dan dw8xlnya.
Ngak pernah ada masalah soal beda versionnya.
Masalah yang sering terjadi karena beda region aja.
Tapi klu emang ngak bisa, update aja dw8 dan dw8xlnya ke versi paling terbaru..

- Tingkat kesulitan (Easy, Normal, Hard, Chaos).
- Tidak ada fitur Weapon Fusion.
- Level Max 99.
- Tidak bisa memiliki senjata 6th.
DW8XL
- Memainkan Story Mode (Lu Bu).
- Memainkan Story Mode Xtreme Legends (Wei, Wu, Shu, Jin, Lu Bu). Story Mode Xtreme Legends hanya berupa side quest.
- Tingkat kesulitan (Easy, Normal, Hard, Chaos, Ultimate).
- Pada saat Blacksmith Lvl 50 (Ambition Mode), membuka fitur Weapon Fusion. Bisa digunakan untuk upgrade senjata (Attack, Elements, Affinity).
- Level Max 150.
- Tidak bisa memiliki senjata 5th.
Gabungan DW8 dan DW8XL
- Memiliki semua Story Mode DW8 dan DW8XL.
- Tingkat kesulitan (Easy, Normal, Hard, Chaos, Ultimate).
- Memiliki fitur Weapon Fusion.
- Level Max 150.
- Memiliki Semua Senjata 5th dan 6th.

Kalau region gamenya sama bisa di gabungkan...
Untuk main harus di game dw8xl soalnya import gamenya ada di dw8xl...
Tapi untuk save datanya saya belum pernah coba bisa di pindahkan ke dw8xl atau harus main lagi dari awal...

as far as I know, the way to combine them is the same. You must own the dw8 and dw8xl games, after that you just have to play the dw8xl games. if the game can only play dw8xl, just select import data.
and I tried it after the games were merged (I used games from the playstation store not from disc), when I deleted the dw8 game I could no longer play the dw8 stage on the dw8xl. so both games should be on the ps3.
