Unfortunately No, you have to turn the device first by holding the on and off button for 3 sec, once the device is on, you can now activate the smoke effect using the wireless remote control.
Ur very welcome..i just really love your product its a great value compare to the smoke genie which is too overpriced in my own opinion.. so thank you for making this product..
This thing smells like shit After a couple minutes....I saw this in a tradeshow at Amsterdam and everyone complained about it. I will not like to see people using this indoors.

Yes can not be usel if you want stund recorded. So smoke the room and turn of record your scene
