Probably he knew that Stuttgart's defenders were getting tired, so he needed someone who could outrun them. And yes, Adli is the man. The fact that Tah was left alone at the far post with minimal covering proved that their concentration level decreased toward the end due to tiredness, I guess.

@@SwabianBall1893Of course Stuttgart played well, notice how they players pressed Leverkusen's midfielder so it makes Xhaka and Andrich feel difficult to build up. If I said Wirtz is so good doesn't mean Stuttgart didn't play well.

Very talented lad he will go to places if he keeps it up most likely snatched up by Bayern though like they always do if their mandatory league win gets threatened. They gutted Leipzig and Dortmund and Leverkusen will feel their wrath after the season is over 😢

Lerverkusen gets most of the praise for what they have been doing this season in the bundesliga Xabi has been showing what a good coach he is but Sttugart are also playing very well and are with a good opportunity for top 3 finish their manager has done a fantastic job.

sometimes he doesnt read his teammates or probably they dont understand him haha, wtf was that pass for Schick when he dribbled past the Stuttgart defense ? There was a very nice pass that should have been an assist early in the 2nd half but Schick didnt manage to beat the keeper... One time Wirtz tried to dribble past a Stuttgart defender only to lose the ball, win it back again immediately and then let it go out for a throw-in because he couldnt control it. Wirtz makes lots of mistakes but his talent is so impressive he needs 1 or 2 good moments to decide the whole game... and he is just 20 years old

Let's talk about FLORIAN WIRTZ, please. Nothing he's doing is normal. He spent 10 months on the sidelines due to a cruciate ligament injury. He came back just 1 year ago. And, right now, he is one of the best players in Europe.
Today, with a spectacular double of assists, he guided Bayer Leverkusen to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal. And with his 8 GOALS AND 15 ASSISTANTS (the highest assist of the season in TOP 5 football) he has been essential for his team to go 30 UNDEfeatED GAMES and continue with options to win the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
He doesn't have the spotlight and media attention of other youth figures, but he is, without a doubt, one of the most hopeful and exciting talents in the entire world.
Due to talent, personality and understanding of the game, we are faced with a boy who has everything necessary to mark an era on the football planet.
He is a chosen one. Xabi Alonso knows it, the Leverkusen fans know it, the Germans know it and all of us who have had the opportunity to follow him during his first seasons as a professional know it.

Feel for Hoeness and Stuttgart who fought well despite having lesser quality. They're still having a good season too, it shouldn't go unnoticed.
