They were mind-blowing...indeed every time I've seen them since they have been brilliant but smaller and smaller venues 🙄 Crazy, they should have e been huge
Original Lineup plus Bigham. I was in that crowd too. This was the show that ended with Dowd and Special K doing the acoustic 'Change' as the final song.
The greatest band of all time that didn’t have John Lennon, little Richard or James brown singing for it. Hands down, the most important band in American history. Fish Fish Fish, baby
I just saw them at Brooklyn Bowl on May 2, 2015. Three original members - Angelo, Dirty Walt and John Norwood Fisher - currently in the band. WIhile it's not the same they still rock! And they're playing all the old stuff these days. My ears are still ringing and I have a few bruises from the pit. I'm a proud, old bonehead. Thank you Fishbone for so many good times and music that I never grow tired of.
Holy ish !!!.....I was trying to remember when I saw this show and didn't expect to be blown away with this recording. This is why I effing loved seeing Fishbone- this was a peak moment for the band and an amazing night- Fishbone, Alice In Chains, Third Bass, LL Cool J, every performance rocked that night. Check out the mosh pit, they lifted Anton up into the balcony at some point. I can't say I experience this kind of energy at shows anymore, then again I was 26 and this scene was totally fresh ..... thank you, this is beyond awesome. Fishbone, a totally under recognized phenomena, can't stop watching this video
I saw these guys at a club I worked at right after this album came out. They took us to church with this song. It's still one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Blowfly! Wow. I met Walter when I was 20 or so for the first time. Said hey man, I'm a trumpet player. He said cool and loaded a bowl and asked if I'd ever heard of Blowfly lol
I saw them at the same concert as Beastie Boys, and Phish, I knew pretty odd pairing but it was spring concert day at the college I went to. They blew everyone away! I kept asking everyone who is this band! This song went on for ever, lead singer climbed the outdoor scaffolding it had to be 90 feet high. Crazy dude.
no there were not great bands like This band of hustlers of punk ska rocknroll metal.listen kiddies let me give you a lesson:you cannot and will not ever in the history or future of the world of music pick a group of people to do what fishbone does.I will tell you the manifest destiny from Chuck Berry to funkadelic/Parliament and on to Fishbone. Now when you say the 70's they formed in the late 70's but they are defined by the 80s and 90s for the bulk of their commercial and mass underground connection to music culture. I have seen them from 90 til 16' so I know.I've seen them play shows where most of the club was empty.I've also seen them rock big shows sold out.this my class is a true one of a kind shining star of hard ass exploding sound in many different forms.it's a chrysalis of styles through the show that never stop when they are on point.so since it can't be replicated will never be stood upon and can only be one true king of bands it shall be fishbone and it was written.
flannel dudes get all the love cause they matched the mopey, gen-x bs that was projected onto the youth, meanwhile socal's early 90s scene is the total opposite vibe and gets completely forgotten: fishbone, jellyfish, school of fish - all incredible
not enough people in the planet listens to this band
I saw Fishbone live around about this time in London - they were astounding.
They were mind-blowing...indeed every time I've seen them since they have been brilliant but smaller and smaller venues 🙄 Crazy, they should have e been huge
Look at that crowd! No phones and pure energy!
Even in modern times theres rarely a phone at a fishbone cos everybody is having fn fun
LOVE FISHBONE !!!
I attended this show. This was the original lineup at its finest. Still get chills watching the video.
This line up is peerless
Original Lineup plus Bigham.
I was in that crowd too. This was the show that ended with Dowd and Special K doing the acoustic 'Change' as the final song.
Where was it located?
I saw them during this era and it was truly one of the best shows I've ever seen. Amazing!
AND NOW MOST OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS ARE BACK BABY!!
The greatest band of all time that didn’t have John Lennon, little Richard or James brown singing for it. Hands down, the most important band in American history. Fish Fish Fish, baby
Never was a band like them, and never will be. SO GOOD.

Steve Kastenbaum Have you seen the documentary, Everyday Sunshine? SO good!
Angelo and Norwood, with Fish, Dirty Walt, Chris and Kendal: saw them twice, and wish I had seen them more.
saw this band in 1985 in Berkeley. they were amazing to experience live.
How can any band be THAT good?
There were lots of great bands just like this back in the seventies.
@@synthonaplinth5980 Name 1
One of the greatest bands in history!
They should be millionaires and already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
They didn't compromise or sell there souls to the music industry.
Agree with You. If only that Hall of Fame was true Now to words ROCK AND ROLL .
This is so awesome. Love this sound of Fishbone.

The bass line on this song always blew me away. Reminds me so much of old-school soul.
Fishbone, at their Sly and the Family Stone-iest.

Hella what a band was lucky to see them with Primus a few times
Just showed my 14 yr old what its all about
Bless your soul for posting this! I've been wanting to see it again since I was in High School. You have literally made my day!!!!!!!!!!
Everyday FISHBONE !!!!!
I've been blessed enough to open for these cats 2x , which led to opening for Blowfly later as well, because Norwood is a bad ass.

I remember this...I saw this on television. LL Cool J performed after them

I had this on VHS too...great stuff.
The new P-funk, they stole the show and everything else! Thank God!
Now that's how you open a show.

Mrs Mr, Music……
They were cool and cutting edge before cool and cutting edge.played there own instruments and no sampling

Fish is BAD and BEAUTIFUL!
They seem all pissed at each other here except walt. Hes having fun as usual
Cracks me up how the typical Fishbone crowd was 90% drunken white dudes.
Never understood drummers who put their hi hats like a foot above their snare lol. Especially when playing normal crossed over instead of open
dirty Walt Angelo fish Norwood Chris dowd Jon Bingham Kendall Jones
Totally convinced the hack Dennis DeYoung wannabe Styx employs stole his revolving keyboard schtick from these guys...
