This is a great list for new AZ licensed drivers that are looking for that first job, if you can find one of these 10 carriers in you’re area you’ll have a better chance getting on with them than a small carrier.
Agreed!! Thanks for watching!
Please let us know next time, best top 10 to work for, cheers!
We're working on it!
Tls Windsor Ontario.... Is one of challenger motor freights companies. I was talking to 1 of their drivers this week and apparently 25 drivers at the Windsor yard lost their jobs last week. There is a purge going on Inside the challenger group. It started the middle of April and every week I'm running into drivers telling me more layoffs have happened. These are all permanent layoffs with severance being paid. no notice being given
Wow
Can you do a top 10 refrigerated companies for o/o
Yes, Iam ready for as Truck driver, from Karachi Pakistan.
I worked for GFL. Great company to work for
That's awesome!
#1is mind blowing😅
Is Silver Star in Quebec
good? Please give me some feedback.
I heard that Bison is the Swift of the north.
Pretty much lol
I’d say Challenger would be the Werner and Charger would be the CFI
Interesting. Thanks for sharing! 😂
@@dancalvano8702 TFI would be the CFI, because well, CFI was TFI.
@@Dexter037S4And they sold CFI off again. Transport America is TFI still.
What about Manitoulin in Y.T.
Where’s the best for a new driver to go to in SW Ontario? More of a question for the comments
Im surprised highlight motor freight didn’t make the list
Considering the way Hi lite treats their drivers, I am not surprised. I was one, and after getting riyally shafted, by the russian rouletter group, I left.
All follow the fmcsa rules.
I’m curious where Manitoulin Transport lands on the list?
Large number of trucks and yards, not very many drivers the vast majority of their drivers work through a drivers service I worked for them out of Barrie Ontario at one time.
@@glennferguson9844 their head office is still here on Manitoulin in Gore Bay.
@@RCRCustoms yes I figured that they were there when I drove their trucks the story then was their driver's tried to organize to bring in a union that was when they let their driver's go and went with a driver's service so they didn't employ them personally I have worked company's that had union and didn't have them I found union pretty much useless all they ever did for me was take my money as their dues when I was called into the office they were nonexistent so much for standing up for the employee.
I am a large truck driver in Morocco. I want to work in Canada. Is there any help? Thank you
According to ChatGPT, as of January 2022, CN has or had 24,000 employees. (You mentioned that number is unknown.)
I've gone back to watching the old truck vs. new truck videos, and one thing I couldn't quite understand was that ET also doesn't purchase the new Kenworth's or Peterbilt's. Wouldn't it be worth giving them a shot? The new T680's and 579's are nice trucks and they deserve at least a good test. Anyhow, I love y'alls content keep up the good work!
I am a large truck driver in Morocco. I want to work in Canada. How do I get that? Thank you
@@redasmegle97 I'm not from Canada but I'd say you'd have to go through the legal immigration policies and apply for citizenship and then move there and get a trucking job in Canada.
@@knightryder6068 thank you so much
When a Canadian drivers haul into the lower 48 do they have to follow the same rules as the US Drivers I mean clock time log books ect
yes
To the letter , and do NOT argue with a trooper or DOT officer, it will put all your company trucks under the microscope, , you had better say excuse me, before you sneeze.
Fastfrate is probably the best one out from all of them.
Getting ready to go bankrupt. huge purge happening right now at challenger.
Purolator was acquired by TFI International in 1993.
You are wrong Purolator is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Post Corporation. And In fact CPC is looking to add more parcel delivery companies in house and under contract. I have it from the top dog there.
@@derekmacdonald791 Thank you
where does ET Transport fit on the list?
We're not a Mega Carrier!
I worked for Bison for a couple years, what can I say!? They have good equipment, and that's the only positive, about the negatives, I could go for hours, but probably the biggest one is the pay!! They are paying really low!!
I tried to apply for bison 🦬 on Covid times and they have ZERO communication department in trying to talk to a living person even in a phone call they never answer
@@chipinfoos don't even bother with them. They are one of the worst out there! There are many, way better companies!
@@AJ-cb6vg good thing I never got in to one of these companies, I currently make 2k a week working for a small carrier right now than these boozos
Sorry to hear that. But thank you for sharing some of your experience!
All this shit, the pay zero👍
Who/what was your source for the information in this video?
What about KAG?
Didn't make the list!
you missed trimac transportation
Didn't make the list!
How about slh
I am a large truck driver in Morocco. I want to work in Canada. How do I get that? Thank you
You need to complete the Class 1/AZ MELT Program.
Can we get the average pay for company drivers on each of those ?
The bigger the company the lower the pay rate but other perks of nice clean secure yards consistent work so on...
Probably 700$ a week, or so...the bigger, the worse...
$700 a week is a joke, I get paid 2k a week and I’m a new driver 😂😂
@@chipinfoos where do you work? I'm a newly licensed driver and looking at my options for employment
@@danngervais7734ry FedEx ground team . Most will start $0.80 and above. You will run as team
Bison is out here in the United States taking contracts from American companies by hauling freight very CHEAP!!!
they own American carriers as well
@@Stanley_Furley yes they do. They’re expanding by hauling freight CHEAP
Along with many other Mega Carriers!
Forget Who are the Largest?? Who are the BEST according to drivers!
Small company carriers are the best, thank god I don’t work for any of these large carriers as a new driver
That's what we want to know too!!
You needs truck driver
Is this the top 10 companies not to work for….
If you have a CDL drive for a company that has trucks, not a trucking company.
What the hell? you left out highlighs which is largest canadian trucking company is
Just because those outfits are in the “top” 10, doesn’t mean that they’re the best ones to work for……not by a long shot. It’s only volume of freight and their cheap rates that allows them to make that list. There are much more better carriers to work for than those outfits.
Which company pays well? That must be #1
Not necessarily!
so where is canada cartage amoung these out fits altho they are owned by americans i think
