I have to watch this somewhat often. Never mind her drumming, which is flawless. No wasted motion and very fluid. It's her. Look at her expression. It's pure joy. She LIVES and LOVES what she's doing. That's what impresses me.

Thanks for that! Brings me back to the 80's when my older brother, who passed on 12 years ago now, was in a Maiden cover band. This song sticks out the most for me, as a young boy sitting in the basement where they practiced watching them rock the house! My brother was a guitar player with great talent that I adored. But the drummer was a solid player too... I'd get mesmerized in his playing. And this song is a nice long jam that would do the trick, as you have done here in your video! I don’t know how this popped up on my feed some time ago. But I am thankful it did. And every now and then it just shows up at the top or close to of my recommended feed and I hit it. And it’s usually on days when I need that extra push to go. I remember a few times early in the morning on my way to work and I play this about 3:30-4 ish and it makes my drive so much better and I have such a good mood when I get to work. Awesome. I noticed you were doing something very unique in your cover and in my opinion it is the most accurate thing to do. It's a delicate precision that I haven't seen another drummer doing it. When you do the double blow on the snare drum you also give a double blow together on the hi-hat and that sounds the most correct, good and accurate. Well done! See what I mean at 01:25 and all along the song in the same phrase.
