      The real question is, haven't they? Break the cell wall on the correla. Because there is ultrasonic sounds, which is the best way. And then accompany called sun clorella. They use these glass beads... Which are not the best because they have proven to leak a little bit of lead from the glass into the correla. So you gotta flind out how to sell. Walls were crushed and cracked. That is so vital for clorella.

    Most important thing when buying any algae is looking at the source finding out how they process it making sure it's clean and making sure to take it slowly until your body gets adjusted to it I've been taking spirulina by new tricks for over 40 years possibly maybe 38 and then I got turned on to chlorella a little bit later on maybe 3 years ago I find that both of them are fantastic One for detoxing and I use chlorella at night it has the B12 it gives me my iron it takes out and detoxes all the metals and God knows what else in our polluted air there is in my body and I find that the spirulina only I repeat only if it's from a good source and it's third party tested and it comes from fresh water not a lake not a lake Well I find that it is amazing so I understand your experience was not that great with spirulina but I will share with you I love the protein and spirulina and the energy it gives me I take that in the morning and I always take my chlorella before I go to sleep because it has altryptophan and some of the amino acids and helps my body to sleep so it detoxes easier Thank you for your podcast I'm glad you found it an alternative but as for me and again I know there are people out there who may not be able to tolerate algae for various reasons of which one should not be that they bought a cheap crappy product which is why I say research and invest in your health it's the best of investment you can make as they say there is no wealth without health Again thank you for your 😊podcast

      Thanks for listening! And glad it’s all worked well for you! Yes, the source of Spirulina is definitely a concern, and considering a lot of water sources are polluted nowadays (which is also a problem with eating fish), it seems that the Spirulina might absorb the pollution, from what I’ve read. So it’s definitely needed to find a good source!

I experienced no complications with it. I have no wrinkles and my energy level increases throughout the day. I’m more energetic in the afternoon when I expect to be tired and worn out. I am a medical practitioner and my colleagues always tell me
      Where do you get your energy from? Are on drugs? Haha I said I take micro algae call Chlorella. Thank you so much for highlighting Chlorella! So this Dr from Japan told me that in Europe they take Chlorella more than they do vitamin c tablets

    Why would one compare these instead of conveying how these two very different fresh water foods compliment each other's qualities? Spirulna is a protein source that doesn't interfere with keto or intermittent fasting that I often refer to as "astronaut food." I understand Chlorella to be a detoxer that helps one repair and sleep well.

    • @YouEatPlants
      @YouEatPlants  7 месяцев назад

      These are actually very similar, they even smell, look and taste exactly the same. But there are some differences, because there are concerns with the toxicity and other things with Spirulina, which you don’t have with Chlorella. Also, Chlorella seems to outperform it, making it a safer and probably better alternative. They both have the same amount of protein, and anything that has calories, especially protein, will not be intermittent fasting anymore. So there’s no benefit to take Spirulina for protein. It was astronaut food because it’s convenient when food supplies or space are limited, as in outer space, not because it was magical or anything. Also, it’s a higher ratio of protein per calorie, kind of like protein powder, but not nearly as high, so that can be useful to astronauts when food supplies overall are limited, and muscles tend to atrophy quickly. But Chlorella provides the same amount, plus more vitamins, nutrients, and omega 3s

    I haven using yayaema Chlorella from Japan. I’m 64 years old but a lot of people say I look like35-40 years old and thank the Lord I don’t have colds or flu . I didn’t have covid vaccination at all and I didn’t have any flu or covid symptoms until now. Praise God. I think the quality of Chlorella from Japan is legitimate bec a lot of people consuming that in Japan didn’t have any cancer or toxicity levels especially in areas where
    The atomic bomb was dropped in Japan . In other words it protects our body cellularly from
    Heavy metals in the environment . And yes even , nuclear toxicity. What do you think?

    • @YouEatPlants
      @YouEatPlants  7 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t know the exacts about different brands, but I think that one is probably fine. I don’t think there is much of a need to do Spirulina if doing Chlorella, since they are very similar and you will be getting all the benefits from Chlorella. But if someone insists on taking Spirulina, that is probably a better option (to alternate them or do 50/50). Hope this helps! Good luck!

      They don’t promote it, but have used it. This is because it’s useful in situations where food is scarce. They also probably had a very good quality source of it (maybe even grew it themselves). But they started using this before Chlorella was useable (they hadn’t cracked the cell wall yet). Now, Chlorella actually provides more nutrients, is safer (at least for the average consumer and not astronaut which has a quality supply) and has beaten Spirulina in a head to head study, proving to work better
